Who misses actually having burns on primary weapons?!
When using fatebringer and vision of counfluence was the best for strikes, night falls, and raids. That feeling after beating a certain boss and waiting to get a drop instead of running up to engrams (not to say engrams are fun to run up to) but just looking at the left side of the screen to see the drops always had me excited to get that one weapon or body armor. Gosh I miss those days

3 commentairesThis week cemented my belief that elemental burns on primaries is not a good thing. With arc burn my play time has been dominated by the Zhalo. I know that I don't have to use it but to be efficient I use it. I really like using different guns continually and not just 3. I could get behind having consumables that add elemental damage for a short time to any primary. I would prefer though that the consumable would have a longer cool-down than use time so we would have to plan its usage.

Not missing them at all. I have my Secondary and Heavy for Elementals. And I like that I almost have to take a look at Primary drops because of potential perks drops instead of immediately discarding them. I find myself using a wider range of primaries now due to the lack of Elemental Primaries.

lol i remember long long ago someone made a post complaing that the burns on weapons in pvp made the shields deplete faster xD and that burns on primaries was unfair cx

20 commentaireswhen will these posts stop? stop living in the past, get better and learn to adapt. but i bet you would rather cry that your crutch guns are gone and thus, easy mode is gone as well. bring the hate and the salt. i loved VoC and FB as much as everyone else. the difference is i can adapt and don't feel the need to cry about it.

Make it where all exotic primaries have a burn...that way there's a trade off to using it. TLW with solar burn would be so dope

I miss it. The change really did nothing to improve our load out variety. We all use the same things everyday, though I test weapons occasionally; just to find that my usual weapons are superior.

The game is too easy now yet challenging when it needs to be(modifiers). When you have everything for any occasion especially at your fingertips with the companion app, everything becomes a breeze. VOG days, we needed a burn on primaries because we all were new guardians awoken from the dead Going into raids with at least one blue piece of armor. Before you started The Vault of glass, it was crucial on what you brought with you on your journey. The raid took days to beat even if you did know the strategy and had a burn. Some Guardians were lucky enough to get a burn primary on their first time through the VOG. Bungie made it so that burns are not necessary on a primary. You have a special weapon, super ability and heavy to remove that enemy shield type. I believe the modifier Match type was on in some ways back in VOG days. Now they made it randomly selected for Night falls (which are for new guardians by the way). Like I said in a thread I created somewhere back in the days, Burns should be a consumable much like a heavy synth or telemetry sold in limited qty weekly by XUR

Yeah, it really does suck to not have burn on any primaries except for zhalo supercell... Im not asking for thorn but i would like some burn on my primary weapons. Also, I CaNT FRIGGIn GET ThE Mau'auls Maulers gauntlets, I ve been grinding the strike since ttk came out its so annoying. 😫

I do, it was stupid to take them out. Especially since only hard to get weapons had them.

1 commentaireI agree. Doing the heroic strikes this week is so much fun with arc burn and small arms. Zhalo is just destroying everything. I like either the elemental cores idea (where you get it as a drop from a HM raid and infuse it into a legendary primary), or making all exotic primaries have an element by default.

I think burns should be on all weapons, I think they need to be back in the game on primary weapons, but not be as super special as they were made in year 1. Just elements across the board, idgaf lol. Or as per usual the elemental core/infusion thing... I just think it would make weapons feel a bit more special and unique.

I miss them, they were a nice touch for making raid weapons worth the hassle of grinding for. I lost all interest in finishing TTK raid after I found out that none of the primaries were elemental.

5 commentairesJust put burns onto all exotic primaries not legendary ones though. Give exotics another way of being special and a step above similar legendary weapons
