27 commentairesShotguns are scrubish. No finesse. No skill. Ruthless run up and pull trigger. Snipes are elegant. It takes a steady hand, quick reflexes, and the exact moment to execute. If you are off even by a little bit, you miss. And if you miss, now you have given up your location and they're all alive. Just learn where shot spots are and also learn map placement. If you know where your enemy is, you're less likely to get sniped. So different with shotguns. Buncha scrubs jumping around and one shotting you 12 feet away. Ha, skill...... I'm out

It would be boring. Bungie has taken primary weapons out of the game by listening to posts like this one. Nerfing is never the answer. Special type weapons rule because of people like you crying. We played a group of really good snipers yesterday in Iron Banner. The map was locked down. Until I started to locate positions and shotgun rush with flanks. It changed the dynamics of the game. We still lost but only by a few. How much fun will it be when both sides just stay on their side of the map and hardscope. Good times.

Destiny without shotguns would be boring. Everyone watch as half the map isn't used! Why? Because players are too busy in the sniper lanes, not moving, never changing, only sniping....Oh wait...That's half of this game anyway...
