Anyone still using Sleeper Simulant
So I just finally got mine yesterday. Reason I'm asking is because I was watching some guy doing the kings fall raid and someone asked if he used the sleeper and he said it was crap and no one used it anymore, etc.
So, do people still use this?

I use it on Taken ultras or sometimes during a solar burn strike/nightfall

Seeing as they nerfed the special ammo, I use it on warpriest but only after I run out of sniper ammo

Saw several people use it successfully when farming Omnigul to finish her off. ToM is much more useful in the final part of the Raid.

It's fun to break out in pvp every once in a while. It ended hammer throwing titans in a hurry back when they were a thing.

Still use mine quite a bit, it's good for boss dps but you really need to hit crits for it to be worth anything. Combo it up with a tether for even more damage

Good substitute for Black Spindle. Good Boss melter. I even use it for Oryx because I don't trust myself with ToM, and Black Spindle isn't a great gun for Oryx. Even funnier for PvP trolling. Hitting snipers with it from across map is hilarious because they usually message back.

It's a boss killer but if you have access to a Weapons bubble on top of that.....that thing REALLY reks. Me and friends have speed run Challenge of Elders before with a tether Hunter, weapons bubble Titan and sunsinger Warlock. Pop all supers at beginning of the round and all 3 fire Sleeper on the boss. You have the boss from full health to dead in literally seconds, sometimes before adds even swarm you.

If everyone has sleepers you can kill the warprist in one run... Same with golg

I use it for Solar burn nightfalls n what not. Its not a bad weapon, just not much versatility.

Seriously you act as if ur such a smart adult but in reality your a kid that learned big words and decided since you get beat up at school you would come on here and try to ruin someones day because you cant do it to ur bullies. I do and love it! With a Titan put on weapons of light and have the Twilight Garrison or (I forgot the other exotics chest piece) with extra heavy ammo. I get 12 rounds, the Sleeper melts those pesky Taken Champions. I get 31,000 plus damage per head shot, if a nearby Hunter tethers, the headshots are 40,000 give or take. My Sleeper has a 335 light level, and my Character is 335 light level. I actually love it more than the old Gjallarhorn. I hope we can bring the Sleeper in year 3 and do a damage comparison of the two! I just hope Bungie doesn't nerf it, gwiz knowing those douches they will!

I still do but the ricochet perk is useless it needs to be better.

I still use it it's fun as hell to me people just have certain weapons and armor they like so IMO just use what you like test it to see if it benefits you don't look for someone to answer your question you might like it

It's good in specific situations. Excellent for Court of Oryx, Challenge PoE and taking down Taken champions. Fun to use in tight spaces.

1 commentaireIt will annihilate Court of Oryx and COE bosses. It's also a quick out to Wizards and other problem adds. In games where I don't feel like I need the Black Spindle, I'll use Sleeper

Its not that great in the raid though, if that's what you are asking. ToM and Spindle are best there. I have mine at 334 you can see it on my hunter. I use it all the time.
