The Warminds (maybe specifically Rasputin) could have been the means used to create the Exos, my point was that the purpose of their creation is alluded to in several grimoire and class item descriptions to be for the purpose of understanding the Vex as a human mind, even with the drugs and assistance of the warminds proved incapable of understanding them on the project at Clovis Bray. I believe the one who awoke Rasputin, which I agree was the Exo Stranger, was somebody who had been around before the collapse who would know how and have the access. There are some very interesting theories out there that the Exo Stranger and Dr. Maya Sundaresh are one in the same, but that's a whole other discussion entirely.
As to your arguments with the motes of light I have to admit I am beginning to become a convert to your theory, the traveller didn't warn us about the Darkness, and Guardians weren't created until after the traveller "died." I wonder though if the reason it needs the motes of light is simply to repair itself? As opposed to feeding off them like the worms for more power, the reason I say that is prior to its "death" the traveller didn't seem to have any need for motes of light or guardians to bring them to her, rather the traveller did what it had done in the Fallen's solar system of transforming planets and enabling technological advancements, to what end? I have no idea, but it seems that if it is using something similar to sword logic through us and the motes of light we bring back to the traveller, it seems to be something that it didn't require prior to being damaged.

I feel like the traveler is using us just to repair itself to kill off Rasputin and leave us once again

According to Rasputin's own words the traveller chose to stay on it's own, his wording sounds as if he admired the traveller for sticking it out even once he decided to go into hiding, which implies that Loki Crown was never enacted. This is covered in the grimoire card Ghost Fragment Mysteries. http://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/ghost-fragment-mysteries

That was after Rasputin started shooting missiles at it to damage it so it chose to stay. It's like if you had a gun to your head and the person told you to stay, you are going to stay there or risk being killed off.

Where does it say that Rasputin already started firing? Given the fact that in Mysteries Rasputin speaks of the traveller choosing to stay and not hide like he himself did with admiration seems to indicate that the traveller wasn't forced to stay, at least not by him.
