I like everyone saying Bethesda. I can understand why because Bethesda has moved into catering to the casual crowd. But for people like me who were fans of Bethesda before Skyrim, I'm incredibly disappointed in how they have pushed action ahead of RPG elements and an immersive story. Seriously, Fallout 4 has no morality system and the worst you can be is "kind of a dick I guess, but you're still technically a good guy story-wise".

But I don't care about a morality system. It was just another useless thing to keep track of that penned you in to play a certain way for certain outcomes. If I really wanted to kill this guy I couldn't because it would lower my morality. That shit was stupid

You didn't have to care about it if you didn't want to. My point was that real choice was entirely removed from Fallout. The morality system just accompanied the choices.

Well most people do play video games for pure entertainment, so that's why it's casual.

I understand. But I've come to expect a certain style from Bethesda over the years. They've moved away from catering to their fanbase to make more money. I shouldn't have to rely on modders to have that real Bethesda experience.

Sadly, it seems that more and more businesses and whole industries have decided to make the most money by doing that sort of thing.

Someday everything will be a CoD clone and I'll never have a new game to buy. While that may suck, it'll save me a ton of money.
