How about an event that spans the entire community, similar to the public events, where everyone works towards a single goal and whoever participates gets rewarded at the end if it is successful?
You could have something like a comet found to be headed for the tower and all of the guardians have a week or two to go there (new mission!) and do missions and whathaveyou to try and destroy it before it hits

1 commentaireGlory holes and gang bangs in the tower. Sign me the hell up.

there should be a monthly event that brings PVE & PvP players together for a week. they could offer cool armor with Wolves on it & stuff. it's could be a Rise of Iron tie in!
-
1 commentaireSo, sorta like those operations from Warframe? Because yeah, that would be pretty cool. One can hope that BUNGO would actually listen to us and add stuff like this.

2 commentairesModifié par ImOnDemand : 5/18/2016 9:26:52 PMDICE does/used to do this with BF4. Except the community events were more simplified. To build onto this idea a little bit; It would be pretty sweet if they opened up a new planet just for an event that would be like territory wars between guardians and the hive/fallen/vex that lasted until the event ran out. Kind of like a real-time Risk event. Basically the guardians would fight against endless waves of enemies until targeted areas were controlled by the guardians or the enemies pushed the guardians back.

3 commentairesI would love to defend the Tower from the House of Kings. Maybe even the City if Bungo would get off their lazy asses.

2 commentairesI used to play a game on my iPhone called Infinity Blade. In the game, there were missions called ClashMobs. The developers would create a task, assign a reward, and set an expiration date. The tasks assigned were things you would never be able to do by yourself (kill 1,000,000 enemies for example). However, these ClashMobs were open to the entire community. If you killed an enemy, it was added to the number of enemies the entire community has killed. If you and the community completed the task before the expiration date, you got to claim the reward that the developers assigned. I would love to see something like that in Destiny.

2 commentairesThere was a thread a while ago like this where guardians fought weekly wars that if you win then a new vendor was unlocked in the last city and it would be a endless battle where guardians and the minions of darkness would fight for ground and the loot you get is in the form of a little higher engram drop rates and there would be generals that have a chance at dropping exotics and if the guardians loose this weekly battle then the darkness gets part of the city and loose out on that vendor

Sounds fun to me.

I think community goals would be pretty great to be honest. Even if they just changed an area or opened an area for it. I'd love to see something like the fallen/hive conflict on earth, same as the events of "the enemies move against each other" kind of thing, except it's constant for the duration of the event. Guardians can just go and slaughter however many as they want for as long as they want. Pure mayhem! Of course, the goal would have be like millions of enemies within a given amount of time.
-
I'd support it.
-
It'd be cool! But I cant imagine how bad the lag would be
-
Good idea
-
I have tryed to say this about year now, but its not that popular idea

1 commentaireYou mean something like this? https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/204225026?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 Yeah, no one was really interested! It's a shame no one else tried it execpt me! I managed 5 kills and a slam last night (I'll upload the video to my post regardless of any further interest shown)

I'd just be happy with a Kill Hive Knights Thursday event. Anyone who kills more than 100 Knights during the event gets a mint emblem........
-
Don't know if this has been mentioned but they should do things like this and utilize PvP maps. Like a stupid amount of enemies and rotating modifiers. Chaos like the spindle boss fight.
-
Id be down with that or anything new really

Bump! ~ Wallace

Buuuump
-
Bump! Would love something like this

I think that this would be a wonderful idea, this is something that Destiny needs in a dead zone. Sadly, this will not work because of recent games like Overwatch, Doom, and Battleborn. Only loyal Destiny players(like myself) will probably play.
-
How would the reward system work?
-
That's cool Especially if community progress was shared across all platforms
-
An actual good idea. I would definitely log on for this.
