Have you ever been on patrol in the cosmodrome and a little level 7 (light level 42) with almost no grimoire score is running around when the Taken start corrupting the area and they try to fight them and you watch them get the ever living hell blown out of themselves multiple times?
SO adorable!! ^__^

1 commentaireHonestly helping low levels in patrols is kind of fun.

201 commentairesCompletely sincerely: Do you all know how much we love you for being awesome toward new people? Last week, I heard someone in the industry say "The Destiny Community is one of the most welcoming communities in gaming." I was proud. Thank you for topics like this, and the comments that follow.

I witnessed 2 fireteam of 5 level 5-7 take on the taken lol and get shit faced over and over instead of helping I just sit there and watch eating doughnuts and enjoying my Mountain Dew. The struggle is real in destiny.

2 commentairesHahahahahaha ikr! I recently deleted my warlock and made a new titan, and I was amazed by the amount of lvl 40s that followed me around haha.
probably because i was lvl 7 with a flawless emblem :')
2 commentairesI started a new account a few weeks ago and I love going into crucible as a level 10 and wrecking people. I get so many messages saying I'm hacking and using lag switches. ( some guy told me that I had "lag armor").

1 commentaireA kinderguardian actually helped me complete one of those "Kill Target" public events. He kept the Ultra's shield down while I tore away it's health. Unfortunately he died a lot, but he was so damn happy when we killed it and got our motes of light and planetary resources.
-
Yep. It's quite fun. I tend to help them but putting up a bubble shield. Fair play to the ones that stick at it.

2 commentairesI like to break out the good old SGA and follow them around as though my HMG never runs out of ammo from hitting the ground near their feet. It's downright hilarious (to me).

71 commentairesModifié par pillow : 4/26/2016 2:22:55 AMI have the habit of occasionally going into the Cosmodrome, traveling to some random location in there (usually Forgotten Shore, Mothyards or Steppes), finding a high spot in said location and pulling out my No Land Beyond to try to get headshots on enemies that are far away. Not only is it okay-ish practice with NLB, it's oddly relaxing to just sit somewhere high, taking your time to line up shots while that fantastic ambiance plays in the background. I don't play Destiny that much anymore besides logging in for the weekly sterling boxes and enjoying the atmosphere of the Cosmodrome. Just a couple of days ago, a level 2 female hunter with a very minuscule grimoire score waved at me from afar in the Mothyards and I waved back before going back to sniping dregs. I didn't even notice until she knifed me on the shoulder that she had ran all the way up to me and jumped up the cliffs right next to me. I looked at her for a moment, crouched with my NLB in hand, and she just decided to sit down next to me. After a moment of acknowledging the newcomer's presence, I just went back to using up my last 8 bullets, and then sat down too. After a couple of minutes of sitting, I was invited to a party, and I decided to accept it. So we just sat there for a good 20 minutes or so, chatting away. Asked me lots of questions about Destiny and whatnot, and eventually ended up sending me a friend request. Now I'm taking that player through Destiny's content, helping her level up and trying my best to give her the same great experiences I had in year 1. Vault of Glass, Crota's End, etc. It has been one of the best experiences I've had in Destiny - to teach a newcomer about Destiny and it's world. Tell them about grimoire and discussing it with them, theorizing and speculating. As I've watched their Guardian grow from level 1 upwards, I realized something. Teaching this new Guardian has been the most fun I've had in Destiny. To me, the best experience in Destiny isn't in any of the lategame content, Crucible or anything like that: it's in socializing, meeting new guardians and helping them. EDIT: Dearie me, I didn't even realize how much I rambled there. Pardon me.

Modifié par Rose : 4/28/2016 2:04:52 PMSometimes when I want to kill some time, I go on and do the old strike playlist just to help some of the lower levels get through them quicker so they can get more done in the time that they have, I went on to do some a couple days ago and there was two people already in the strike when I joined, they waited for me to go around every corner first which I found really cute, I don't go ahead and take all the kills so they can get the majority, I just help by getting some enemies health down. 😀

2 commentairesModifié par JammyBrit : 4/28/2016 4:23:53 AMA true story; I had just spawned in the Cosmodrome to do patrol for some bounties. Then I saw a littlelin' A little lv3 Hunter, 200 ish Grimoire doing the mission at the crashed ship. I waved, he waved back. Some other lv40 came about and waved too. We both followed the kinder-guardian killing some (but not all) enemies so he won't die until he disappeared through a loading zone. Me and the other lv40 exchanged a wave before too heading in our separate ways. That day was a good day
