Bungie has made Eververse into something we were promised it wouldn't be. With each update in year 2 eververse has taken a step in the direction of pay to win. Seems no one supports this action so join with me and sign here and demand on the forums that it is removed!

So no, this armor that I am now wearing to play all the new content is not, in fact, cosmetic. This is real gear with actual, useful talents that is able to be infused to max level. Saying it’s a vanity item is like selling someone a “perfectly safe” unloaded gun, when you can see them holding a box of bullets in their hand.
From a Forbes article. Excellent analogy.
***EDIT***
Lets clean this up a bit!
It seems lots of people think the only way to "win" in this game is to be level 335. The majority of people that play this game are interested in getting the current cool loot. (It's a looter shooter after all) The previously mentioned "cool loot" can now be purchased in a gambling fashion instead of being eared. Don't take "pay to win" so literally people!
SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE GUARDIANS THAT KEEP IT REAL AND DON'T LET THE BUNGIE APOLOGISTS RUN WILD
People want DLC that is based around content rather than more micro-transactions!

1 commentaireI would prefer there was zero degree of pay to win and although this is in my eyes a low degree of pay to win, it's acceptable. Hopefully bungie don't take it any further!

8 commentairesSome people are too busy to wait for RNGesus to bless them. Remember trying to get Gjallarhorn in year1? Plus this is just armor. Stop promoting elitism and excluding people with busy schedules.

12 commentairesCouldn't care less. Also the analogy in the spoiler, and the whole article it came from in fact, is plain retarded.

4 commentairesBungie is on the slippery slope with a lubed up sled, sliding head first into pay to win town lol

2 commentairesBump. I was fine with Ships, Sparrows, and Emotes. Armor was not a part of the deal. It may drop at 3, but the point is that they said it would never become pay to win. Like a famous line that Deej once said "The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. Since the reveal, we’ve read a lot of ideas for how this could have been done better. Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected." We slowly lost weapons most of us loved, and now our time in earning gear is being laughed at because people can now buy the new cool stuff, while the grinders depend on RNG each time. Yes, buying it is RNG drops as well, but it defeats the purpose of the game; the grind and excitement you get obtaining the loot you worked so hard for. I have been through this game on both Xbone and PS4, I have seen the changes with each update. I love this game, and do not want to lose it to Microtransactions or the cry for Nerfs. This comment is long, and I apologize for that. Just had a lot to say about this topic. You may feel different Gaurdians, so to each his or her own.

1 commentaireI spent €60 on silver, want a tissue son...!

Remember when the desticles said it was strictly cosmetic only? Do you remember them laughing at the slippery slope theory? Now they say but it's only 3 light and gloss over the alteration to the infusion system to cater to the silver buyers and rep boosts. Wake up guys cod's selling weapons Activision will want the same in destiny.

6 commentaireshmm... a company has a system in place that is making them alot of money off from content drops. Theres no way theyd shut it down just cause some children are whining that their moms wont buy them silver. When you grow up youll realize other people buying stuff in game has no effect on you whatsoever.

1 commentaireUnless you can buy a glory day Ghorn then it's not pay to win

It's not Pay to Win....yet
-
62 commentairesJust stop. This is nothing like pay to win. Pay to win is the ability to purchase an item, ability, or resource for in-game use that provides a strategic or tactical advantage over those who have not purchased it. There is no perk or combination of perks provided by this armor that is not available in virtually every other piece of armor in the game. It simply looks different than other armor. This armor is available - for free - to EVERYONE. The only thing spending money does is allow you to get a full set of this available to everyone, common perks, but different looking armor IN LESS TIME than by not paying money. NOT pay to win. NOT similar to pay to win. NOT the beginning of the cliche slippery slope that leads to pay to win. It's just NOT.

Every time I think of Eververse I think of "Jared the Galleria for Jewelry". He went to Jared to buy sterling boxes

Modifié par Ultra : 4/15/2016 11:19:37 AMSigned, even though Bungie will never do it

Yea this would never do anything ever.

Only when eververse starts to sell exclusive weapons and gear you can't get any where else will this game become pay to win. Stop making an issue where there isn't one

Signed.
