Bungie has made Eververse into something we were promised it wouldn't be. With each update in year 2 eververse has taken a step in the direction of pay to win. Seems no one supports this action so join with me and sign here and demand on the forums that it is removed!

So no, this armor that I am now wearing to play all the new content is not, in fact, cosmetic. This is real gear with actual, useful talents that is able to be infused to max level. Saying it’s a vanity item is like selling someone a “perfectly safe” unloaded gun, when you can see them holding a box of bullets in their hand.
From a Forbes article. Excellent analogy.
***EDIT***
Lets clean this up a bit!
It seems lots of people think the only way to "win" in this game is to be level 335. The majority of people that play this game are interested in getting the current cool loot. (It's a looter shooter after all) The previously mentioned "cool loot" can now be purchased in a gambling fashion instead of being eared. Don't take "pay to win" so literally people!
SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE GUARDIANS THAT KEEP IT REAL AND DON'T LET THE BUNGIE APOLOGISTS RUN WILD
People want DLC that is based around content rather than more micro-transactions!

1 commentaireUseless post for non-issue. Do you work for Faux news or something? Stop with the scare tactics. Nothing to see here. Move along.

6 commentairesIt could worse. We could be buying exotics we're too lazy to earn for 2.99.
-
1 commentaireBut but but... I quite enjoy my Praise the Light emote.

1 commentaireTechnically it's not pay to win. I doubt you will be doing anything with level 3 gear or a glowing sparrow or ship from sterling treasure. Maybe the chorma helps... no wait... it doesn't help you win either. You do not need to buy anything from tess to win. It's different if you want it. I dropped a 20spot. Bungie devs need to eat and feed their children while keeping a roof over their heads and make us a fantastic game(Destiny 2)all at the same time. I'll keep dropping 20$ every expasion with the intentions that the money we provide is used for the families of bungie and further development of the destiny 10 year plan. Only kids who don't make their own money complain. Or cheap people. Grrrr get at me.

1 commentaireI agree. I play to make my character look good not be 335

1 commentaireIt's not pay to win. It's still purely cosmetic. What I hate is that the gear I still have yet to get other people have because they spent money. Anything in the sterling treasures doesnt hold significant value to me.

Modifié par Onxide : 4/15/2016 5:09:59 PMIt might work if there was a way to earn Silver in game without having to pay money for it. Similar to the REQ points system in Halo 5.

1 commentaireBump, less transaction purchases will mean bungie might actually focus on real DLC's

2 commentairesGet muted.

2 commentairesWithout it we would have no special events and big updates bungie/activistion cant spend 1m(1m for the whole entire year) from their 1 billion earning

3 commentairesI don't get how that is pay to win at all when the perks are on every single armour piece. You're not getting a specific perk or anything. You are just buying a more cool armour set to infuse instead of having to use a set u don't like the look of.
-
Agreed unless it's free

1 commentaireMaybe it's Activision that's doing the micro transaction game, not bungie. They do it with COD and it work(ed/s) . Didn't do an extensive amount of research, but I have BO3 and Destiny, the 1 thing in common is Activision.

Never going to happen.

1 commentaireKeep it real?
