Thorn is exactly were it should be. If you were using it when it first came out and had to use rare void burn weapons you'd know that.
The gun is still competitive and waaaay better than it first was.
It's got a 9 round mag compared to the old 6
It's got twice the old reload speed
And you can stack the dot now.
Best of all the poison effect of being shot has been toned back down to a non nauseating effect.
The gun was nerv meant to kill from dot. It was designed to stop shield regen.

Modifié par kendallhollo2012 : 4/10/2016 7:21:49 PMDude. Post nerf... The thorn is going to never be seen again. it won't even be good at slowing recovery with 4 quick ticks of 1 damage. The effect of the DoT has been effectively neutralized. It's while exotic perk has been pretty much eliminated.

It should have never been buffed to that level of insanity anyway. If you were good with thorn before it was buffed then it shouldn't bother you. I will say this, thorn originally topped out at 83 per precision it sits around 79 depending on range.
