Should we leave old consoles in the dust?
Honestly, it needs to happen. I played most of my Destiny career on PS3. I got a ps4 in December, and was able to buy Destiny in February. From what I understand, last gen is already struggling with Destiny as is, and I don't think they could handle private matches.
We need to move on from last gen, and move forward with Destiny. I heard that Sony was going to discontinue PS3 servers in 2017 anyway, so PlayStation users will be in the dust. If Destiny moves on to current gen, I think this game has much more potential.
I do realize that some people are less fortunate, and cannot afford to pay for a new console. That is why you should start saving now, for September. Please Bungie, move on.

4 commentairesI'm on 360 and I say yes, leave old gen behind. Can't afford one yet. Was hoping they would've come down in price last Christmas, but they kept them same price and just added "free" games to them in bundles. There's no jobs around me unless you wanna work fast food and I just can't do that. I make enough to get by but not alot extra left over.

I got my xbox one last year during Black Friday, still play on my 360 also, Destiny 2 will only be for next gen and the 360 and ps3 are being fazed out.

I play Destiny on the 360 and I agree that they're slowing the development of Destiny down- they should be left behind, it will probably motivate me more to get a job to buy an Xbone.

9 commentairesI have Xbox one, my second one infact and my current Xbox is on its way out, I can get them fixed for free but it means sending them off, from what I understand, my account isn't transferable from Xbox one to ps4 otherwise I'd get the ps4, I think lot of players would buy the lastest gen console if they could keep their account with destiny and their other games, I can't imagine many people still use PS3/Xbox 360 I watch DVDs on mine and that's it.

You know that Final Fantasy XI servers got closed this week on Playstation 2. Servers on ps3 are not gonna get closed for a looooong time.

For destiny 2? Certainly. But not for the current game. They've paid just as much so they deserve to be able to play. I don't believe last gen is as much of an anchor as people act like it is. Look at cod, I guarantee that purposely -blam!-ed up bo3. Bo3 doesn't look all that much different than ghosts/bo2/aw, there is no reason the old consoles couldn't handle that cartoony bullshit.
