I am 48 years old and played Destiny for +2.000 hours but.....u can't be serious Bungie?
Sorry for any bad grammar but English is not my native language. I am an old guy, I like playing chilled, with cool people, etc. Including the Beta, I played Destiny for more then 2.000 hours, and I loved every single minute.....pretty much. I don't like competitive stuff like PvP but whatever. I pretty much stopped playing Destiny when my main character reached 320. I had no reason to push my other characters too. It became kinda boring doing the same stuff over and over again for crappy loot. I was waiting for new content. I hoped for stuff like "old raids with new gear" etc. But Bungie did the complete opposite! Why?
I got a clan with more then 100 players, I got a friends-list with more then 200 people, I asked around, POE was the least favorite. Bungie, do you listen to your community at all? Why? POE? SERIOUS? I work as a retailer in a game-store, I get tons of games for free and I will play a lot of other games for the next period of time, but for sure no Destiny. Destiny=Arena shooter with high-score and time-limit? You must be kidding me! This will be pretty cool for kids with ADD-syndrome but not for an old guy like me. Thank you Bungie for the great time I had with you and your awesome game, now its time to leave. I am sad, very sad....... greetz from Germany :-(

The reef just was destroyed in the battle against oryx. So now that the taken threat is nearly eliminated, the reef started to get rebuilt. So now Variks wants to study the taken in the PoE and eliminate all other taken threats (Malok.) Bungie didn't raise PoE just to piss us off, they did it because it goes along with the story.

All rewards are being brought up to current light level. Its free as long as you own TTK already, so it's a free add on and it's more than I had before. I too have been playing since Y1 so I understand your concerns about the game and it's progression. But at the end of the day it's all the same.... ill be playing and having fun, and you will be posting on a forum for a game that you don't play anymore.

It was the easiest thing to do. That's why. That's also why it replaced whatever raid they were going to make for HoW. It takes them too long to make awesome things. So they have to cut corners and back out from things, previously intended to be in the game by now. Basically they can't make their deadlines. That's what it looks like to me.

You know what, I want all the people on the forums to show up Destiny. Cmon guys I am sure the lot of you program games for a living and know all the ins and outs of messing with a game on a global scale ^_^. But while you are doing that, I want Destiny 2 to come out on time. Hell will give you 3 years.

The only reason I can think of that would be the right answer as to "why PoE?" Would be that bungie wants to try and fix the things that people don't like about PoE to make it more fun.

Instead of complaining why not present a few ideas on how you would make VOG / CE have replay value. I loved those raids but raising the difficulty and gear power alone won't freshen things up. How do you bring them up to current or future light levels and freshen them up?

Most players do not have that many friends/clanmates who still play the game. POE is perfect for dwindling friends lists and can vary more than the raid does.
