IGN is the same group that gave Pokémon ORAS a 7.8/10 for "Too much water." Take it with a grain of salt, their review scores are based on how much money they get bribed with.

Pokemon is 5/10 for me cause trash graphic lack of battle combat

None the less, they took off 2.2 points because the game had "TOO MUCH WATER." It isn't exactly Wind Waker either.

If they couldn't find a logical reason, they should've either reduced the penalty or found another reason. I'm not defending Pokémon, just saying IGN is full of idiots.
