False, there was obviously a disconnect seeing as how he had to 'explain himself' in a follow up. His follow up response is how he should address the community on a regular basis. 'Hey guys, I don't have anything to report to you about the content you have been asking about but we do hear you and know that you have inquired about such such and such'. Rather than routinely ignoring people and coming up with smart ass pokes. I don't want to hear 'oh it was a joke'. He 'jokes' like that A LOT to the point where his interaction is extremely smarmy and smug. Defend him all you want, but I know if I treated my industry's customers like retarded jackasses and talked to them like they wear a bike helmet 24/7 and need to be hand held guaranteed I'd be fired and management would quickly and simply replace me.
