Bungie needs to do what rock star does in gta v. All cheaters are restricted to playing with other cheaters only, and their character must wear a dunce cap. In order to be returned to the general non cheating public, they have to play nice for a certain amount of time with the other cheaters and,prove they can "play nice" as cozmo puts it. We need something like that cause slaps on the wrist don't do nothing, especially when they get to keep ALL they stuff they got from cheating.

I dont get it tho i play one match and im green and the next im red, why the actual fack should i be penalised when i get matched like this and the other team also get subjected to my latency? Its fken stupid

It's funny because most players that get banned aren't really cheating. Usually they either have weak connections or get reported often because people are raging from being crapped on by somebody of high skill. A lot of cheaters are still Ddossing me in trials while the innocent get restricted...[spoiler]But cheaters aren't safe from the teams that Gaurd the lighthouse each week! As much as I hate them those teams require true skill to overcome no matter the numbers![/spoiler]

Red bars = report every time. Even if bad internet is the providers fault, it degrades the overall experience for those who have green connections. Bungie's party at fault for not having: * dedicated servers * PVP online quality restrictions * region based connections

If the game had dedicated servers or host migration then this problem wouldn't be so prevalent. I don't have the best of internet connections due to my country's telecom not bothering to upgrade the infrastructure. I went from a 6Mbps ADSL connection to a 4, then 2 then 1 then nothing due to the exchange magically moving further and further away from my house. Must be earth crust displacement. That said, my radio link is pretty fast and works very well on games like battlefield (console and pc) as well as all my pc games that connect to dedicated servers. Even Rainbow 6 Siege, which is match making, plays so much better than destiny. The game's requirements states that you have a broadband internet connection. I see that "broadband" is not considered the same across the globe. In the US for instance, up until last year, broadband was consider 4MBps down and 1Mbps up. Now you must have 25Mbps down and 3Mbps up to have "broadband. So based on that, all you in the US complaining about other people's internet, if you don't have broadband according to the FCC, stop playing as you don't have the recommended requirements to play. Now, according to my country's interpretation of broadband, I have the recommended internet to play this game, therefor I will, regardless of my lag. Now this is where you moaners will say "but you should stop playing because you're ruining it for others. or get better internet or I'll tell my mommy on you". Have you ever considered that bungie is match making across oceans? I've ended up connecting to matches in the middle east for some obscure reason, and I'm in South Africa ffs! So unless it's an obvious lag switcher, consider the reasons why someone might be laggy before running off to bungie to swing it's apparently used ban hammer. So, unless bungie pays me back the money for my copy of the game + all expansions, introduces dedicated servers or flies to South Africa to install fibre for me without our corrupt, racist government finding out, then I guess you'll see my red bar in your game once in a while.
