315+ for HM?
Can someone explain to me how you're supposed to have 315 light level for Hard Mode when the highest Normal Mode drps is 310? or am I missing something.

You don't need to be 310 for hard raid. Only the end matters so you should get loot from the other bosses and slowly increase your light like this. With a little bit of luck you should be 310+ when reaching Oryx and if not you could be the runner since you won't really participate in the fight and you will be immortal most of the time.

The guys that are asking for 315+ probably just want to get it done as quick as possible, and the best way to do that is with the highest level/most experienced players. The best thing you can do is get your own raid team together, that way it's you that decides what the minimum level requirement is to join.

We just brought a 290 through hard mode challenge last week.. U just need to right people man find some people u get along with or join a clan .. My clan carries low lights all the time

Because anything lower say your inexperienced in the hard mode and have very little if any hard raid completions! And carrying noobs through the raid is just not my thing! I save that stuff for the ass kissers on twitch

I completed hard at 308, wasn't easy, but I did it, was 311 when I best oryx challenge

Maybe because the raid is 8 months old now so if you are under 315 it's a lack of experience and some people don't want to babysit.

Stop going to LFG. Go to The100 and make your own game. Just make sure to tell them your light level and higher light people will help you out.

By the time you get to 310 you should be able to do part of the hard raid. Enough to get good gear

You aren't "supposed" to have 315 light. But you could achieve it from Trials and Iron Banner. People just like to play with players of a similar level as themselves in order to minimise the strain on any one member of the team.

Iron Banner and SRL will get you gear over 310. From there all you need to do is the Hard Mode challenge mode once and you're guaranteed some 320 swag

Like others have stated it's mainly to weed out inexperienced guardians. At this point people are looking for a quick run. I don't mind bringing someone who's lower light through the raid, however with that said I'm finding most low light guardians are very bad at listening and learning the mechanics. I don't want to spend 3 hours doing one raid when I can knock all three out in the same time frame. The thing I don't get is those who are Sherpas requesting 315+ as that defeats the point of being a Sherpa. Suggestions would be to learn the mechanics, be able to stay alive, and apply the feedback you receive. Idiots are ruining it for casual players at this point.

They want this since it means u have complete the raid multiple times and have expertise to get it done fast that all it is I don't like it but that is why it is their since no one wants to carry a scrub through the raid

Your missing something. The people who post that have already done norm till they got high enough for hard then they got higher and now they weed out inexperienced players by putting 315 + even tho you can get to 315 wo even raiding.

I knocked out all three hard mode raids and three night falls today I don't have time to mess around trying to teach somebody how to do it or try to carry them I want to get it over and done with so I can keep getting the same shit as -blam!-ing rewards week after week

Hi To get higher light gear u need run hard mode and do the weekly challenges in hard mode. Hope the info helped...

Easily avoided by creating your own group or doing it with friends

Just do iron banner (it's on now) and try some trials, you should've just gotten a 320 ghost and with good weapons boom people will take you into the raid
