Icebreakers really?
Are you salty a$$ snipers going to be pulling out icebreaker? What a joke that people would consider this. Can't wait. I don't know if I agree with this type of change to the game but I'm not sure what would be a better option. I think I would prefer the way sniper are used such a holding your breath like call of duty. Or maybe more of a flinch when being shot at. I'm very interested in how this is going to play out. I'm sure a lot of salt!
Edit: I was right about the salt. It's so obvious people are not reading my whole post.

3 commentairesMore flinch is absolutely a necessity. you literally cannot challenge snipers w. A primary weapon anymore. You just get domed or double body shot 80% of the time. That shit never happened in Y1. You could challenge all special weapons w. Your primary. It's so ridiculous now. Players are just going to use icebreaker & invective for the first part of matches. I haven't played yet. But unless they've also limited special ammo drops, & the quantity in each crate, it's not going to solve any issues. It'll make the first 30 seconds slightly different. That's it.

Same situation with the Galahorn, I don't know why people still fear these weapons coming back at this point in the game as there are more powerful (non-exotics) options out already. PS: I think Bungie should have never Nerfed these weapons to begin with. Nerfing weapons is not the answer never is, and it just upsets people who work hard getting or using the weapons.

1 commentaireHmm 3 rounds per 24 seconds v 4+ rounds per 30. You might be better off using another sniper. Sure you will get 3 rounds earlier but: 1) you have to wait 8 seconds for your next round so you can't rez-snipe an early sniper kill or you can't really double tap. 2) your maximum ammo is limited to 6 rounds. Icebreaker is not as good of an option as some people seems to think it will be, especially if they drop your charge down to 0 upon death like they should to prevent the weapon switch glitch.

I just use NLB now, but icebreaker's a beast and has a great feel. It's still a viable weapon in y2 game types, you'll just take more damage...

1 commentaireHave you ever been shot while ads with a sniper? The flinch is unreal. It's 50/50 shot for really good drag scopers. And call of duty is only an eject button away.
