When test weapons require crucible kills I do pretty poorly for a few days. It's almost motivation to not do the tests on those. Almost. Thoughts? I just enjoy crucible a lot more when I can really customize my loadout. I'm not an incredible player by any stretch but testing in the crucible is frustrating and feels too much like a chore. How do you keep the fun alive with test weapons?

The fusion rifle is overpowered that's all I will say

8 commentairesThe Hakke test hand cannon is amazing to me. Went flawless with it 17-0 back in like the first week of ttk
-
Went 2.0 with the HC and shotty. You just have to play (more) conservative and pick off kills with the HC (the test one really sucks with a 5 bullet in the mag).

3 commentairesI don't do the crucible test weapons. Double kills with a 5 round clip on a hand cannon. Sure
-
1 commentaireI never do the crucible test weapons I want to have fun and that means getting kills.
-
Simple answer is don't do them

I think they're confusing levelling up the weapon vs. completing Gunsmith bounties. All I can say about the Gunsmith is that you only need to use him until you reach level 5. That will give you the ability to order all Armsday weapons if you needed to, and at levels 2, 3, and 5 you get weapon quests.

2 commentairesPeople still do test weapons?

I have an awful K/d with op weapons if it makes you feel any better
-
Jesus I had a hakke pulse rifle with the worst recoil ever, I got 4 kills with the gun
-
I just don't even use them. They're junk.
-
I liked it because it forces you to use other stuff and you may find a new wep type you like.
-
It sucks.

Once you equip test weapons, your k/d should not move, just like TLW to get the chaperone.

2 commentairesModifié par ScientificBEST : 2/5/2016 6:38:53 AMUsually I don't have a problem if it's a rocket launcher or MG. those pretty much just do their job as intended. The Omolon fusion rifles are also pretty good. Omolons always have a tight bolt spread, so it's not too hard to get kills with those. And some of the snipers are pretty easy to use. Definitely not a 1kYS with Shortgaze and Snapshot, but some are definitely usable. I never test primaries in the Crucible though. [Edit:] also keep in mind that you don't even need to use the test weapon to earn experience for it. Just keep it equipped and use your other weapons. Only works for PvP, not PvE.

The Snipers are the worst

Did the handcannon on my warlock. Never again.
-
Haha I went into classic free for all last night with that pistol, it was a -blam!-ing chore getting the kills with everyone else using thorn and tlw. Got it in 2 matches but that was me being a little snake in the grass finishing people off and running.
-
Yea they're not worth it. Just don't do them. I don't mind using the special and primary in crucible but the stupid rocket one suuuucks. Even when you shoot it at their feet it doesn't do enough damage. My year one rockets do. But that particular rocket for test is ridiculous. Anyway. If you aren't happy with your results from testing them then there's clearly no need to try them every single time the same weapon comes around.

Skiiiiiiiip!
-
Just skip them and dont worry about k/d the game is too messed to actually record true stats
-
I skip them.
-
10 commentairesI stopped doing those as soon as I got the first curse
-
I stopped doing test weapons at like rank 8.

True that one handcannon with the minimal impact and slow fore rate was brutal, took 4 headshots and by then you could have been outgunned by a No Land Beyonder who missed their first shot.
