Almost half of the hits do not connect the way they used to, why is that?
Perfect Example Below:

Edit: HOLY CRAP 300 comments! Surely are whispers will soon be heard! Don't let this issue die down please! Help a subclass stay alive
Also the reason Mask of Third Man doesn't seem like it does much anymore is because we have to constantly swipe extra to compensate for the possibility of our super not doing its job and that's really depressing! Haha
Any other hilarious hashtags will be posted here haha

3 commentairesI've noticed that since I'm a year older, my arc blades aren't as firm and don't last as long. :D
-
It's been like that since patch 2.0 dropped, frustrating as blam. We just might have to wait like 3 months? for bungie to fix it... I hate how long things take to get fixed in this game.
-
It's had its time shortened and the lunge always seems to stop short of the enemy so they can shotgun you to the head

1 commentaireModifié par Sixclicks : 12/5/2015 11:41:03 PMBump. Arcblade is essentially useless in both PvP and PvE because of how broken it is. It's not the same as it was before TTK. All it has going for it now is Quickdraw in PvP and invis in PvE. Especially after the huge nerf to Arcbolt and the nerf to Blink. Constant shortstopping and shitty hit detection.

1 commentaireI agree. I waste 50% of the super energy hitting the same guy over and over.

2 commentairesI can't tell you how many times I've moved on to the next target only to die to the guy who should of been dead 2 arc blade attacks ago.

1 commentaire100% agree as a bd main, also i would like to point out that this wasnt happenning pre weapon balancing 2.0, maybe bungie changed something in the way a hit registers idk but something is off, i sometimes hit someone 2 times and he is still alive
-
So blade dancer did have a problem after all...I though it was just lag

I want my blade dancer back

1 commentaireI've noticed this, myself. I'm not a trials player, but it has impacted PvP dramatically, to the point where blade dancer is hands down the worst subclass for PvP. It's bad enough that with Sunbreakers and Stormcallers roaming around your melee super is suddenly at a massive disadvantage (not to mention it takes TWO of those precious three golden gun shots to kill them). However, I've found my arc blade hitting and NOT killing on a consistent basis. I'm talking, AVERAGE two connecting hits to kill in standard crucible, and yes, I can confirm I'm hitting them both times, they drop to about 15% health after the first swipe.

1 commentaireModifié par RusulkaCthulhu : 12/5/2015 10:55:45 PMI main a warlock and I agree with this statement. After running my warlock through trials and completing the bounties I moved to my hunter to do the same. When I activated my arc blade and hit the warlock stormcaller multiple times nothing even registered and he killed me soon after as if I did nothing. Now I'm not calling out stormcaller, it was just in this instance that it happened. I've hit regular foes and have had the same thing happen. Also I have had plenty of arc blades hit me while being my warlock and I lived, when I know I shouldn't have. Something needs to be done and it should have been done before they even touched the Titan's. Also that blink cooldown nerf is ridiculous. I never had a problem tracking and killing a blinker. Take for instance the map for trials today, widows court. Countless times I found myself over the ledge in the water after blinking and the countdown of death started. Partly my mistake but sometimes my next jump out of the water would be a fail and I would have to jump again but seeing as its got the damn cooldown, I ended up dieing to the damn death clock. Either fix the cooldown or increase the amount of time you can be out of bounds. My god that one irritates me.

2 commentairesWhen I use my blink strike at someone, it does not register and it also takes away my blink strike and i have to wait for it to charge again.

6 commentairesI think blade dancers should be called Huladancers, and instead of knives, the get hula hoops that rekts anyone who gets near it. But that's just me. *hula hoops aggressively*

17 commentairesI will try to be the no-man's-land player and talk both sides, as a Hunter and (mostly) Bladedancer main in Year 1. Pre-Year 2 Bladedancers were the undisputed kings of Crucible, only challenged by Gunslingers. Setting aside the gun meta, the individual perks that the tree granted stacked against the other subclasses in the game, with the exception of Sunsingers. Blink was frankly a terror to fight, used by Voidwalkers as well, but made deadly by Max Agility + Quickdraw. Arc Bolt grenade (not my preference) was a strong grenade for finishing off a target, but it was nowhere near top tier grenades. Hungering Blade made Arc Blade deadly with its health regen, although bad players just thought the super was just this omnipotent button mashing.
Sunbreakers actually (under the subclass tuning) have a longer duration and better health regen.
Problems: Quickdraw made the gun meta so dirty because we got instant access to ADSing. Matched with Blink, we became mobile monsters who could attack or retreat from nearly any and every conflict (Blinking out of Nova Bombs was hilarious). Frankly, it did need a nerf though because put 99% of Bladedancers on the path to all play the same style. Finally, a pet-peeve of mine is the aerial tracking on Arc Blade. It's bullshit LOL. Please try to jump, glide, lift, or blink away from me....you are still mine.
I still have this problem and with swords as well.
Post-Year 2 Now by this time I bet most of you think "HE HATES BLADEDANCERS!" "TRAITOR!" "GO PLAY AS A WARLOCK THEN!" No. I love Bladedancers and had lots of fun playing as an exclusively Stealth Bladedancers. Quickdraw and Blink (yes extending to Warlocks) did need a nerf, they were too centralizing to the PvP meta. I do, however, have problems with the subclass after the tuning against some of the changes Bungie developers made. Problems: Arcbolt Grenade got nerfed really for no reason. It was working as intended, was not the overwhelmingly used grenade for the subclass (Lightning Grenade anyone?), and granted Bladedancers their only real crowd control, outside of Showstopper (?) amd Razor's Edge. Oh and what did you do to the Arc Blade swipes!? Why do I need 2 hits at least 70% of the time to kill guardians who don't have overshield!? Issues may or may not get fixed in the future. I do believe that exotics do a lot for making things better or changing the gameplay, but too many players are stuck on Mask of the Third Man (for example). The two new Bldedancer exotics should make neutral and Super playing better, but try out when you can other exotics like Khepri's Sting or Sealed Ahamkara Grasp. Heck, use Lucky Raspberry if you want your chain lightning again, it's not like people used the exotic in Year 1. Bladedance does need small, very small fixes but learn to adapt

1 commentaireI used this class for the first time in ages yesterday to finish a couple of bounties. I'm fairly sure there's something wrong when I used my whole super trying to kill just a normal patrol, yellow bar enemy and still had to kill them with my primary when the super ran out. They broke it.

Modifié par Ghostfire239 : 12/7/2015 1:51:59 AMIt's been happening SO MUCH!!! It EVEN HAPPENS WITH RAZOR'S EDGE AND BLINK STRIKE!!! It basically punishes me for using Arcblade! *#SaveTheBladedancers

1 commentaireI've also noticed this. It happens sometimes with swords too. I have a video that I'll post later. I use a sword and slash right through a goblin's leg 3 times in a row with no registered hit.

T-rex arms on my Titan give you a welcoming hug

1 commentaireIts total bull-BLAM- what they did to Bladedancers. Even though I did call for a nerf year 1 this is overboard and not what I wanted. Additionally Bladedancers need a huge buff to PvE cause they're useless there.
-
1 commentaireYep. Blade danced through 3 people last night, then again. Zero kills. The hit detection is -blam!-ed, now I remember why I stopped playing bd after the patch. It's useless.
-
3 commentairesYeah, it's pretty bugged. I'd be willing to bet it has to do with the introduction of swords, which use basically the same mechanics as Arc Blade, but swing slower and have longer reach. What do you know, in the same update that added swords to the game, Arc Blade swings got slower and don't always connect properly. Almost like they based the sword mechanics on Arc Blade originally, found it was too good with the additional reach of the sword, and tweaked it to swing a little slower and have pickier hit detection, and since they were working from the Arc Blade mechanics as a base, those changes unintentionally affected Arc Blade as well.
