How do people have a hard time on totems
It's the easiest part of the raid but people always seem to struggle .
Edit: This is for Kings Fall. Hopefully people will see this and see the tips people are providing and maybe implement or change their strategy.
I just spent an hour with a group. I kept trying to tell them and help them but one person would die than next round someone else would die.

It takes communication and everyone helping kill adds. Also getting knights on top killed and knights as they spawn from middle.

1 commentaireNo one has snipers equipped. No one listens to call outs. People run off the totems before the aura transfers. People holding the aura move around a lot preventing other players from staying inside the aura to transfer. No one kills Wizards. That about sums it up.

You can make mistakes at other parts that you can get away it. Mainly, if you take heavy damage, you can step back and grab a breather while the rest of the team carries the load. Totems is more a solo/duo effort and you can't reall hide since you should be at your position. Plus, taking a breather means you aren't killing adds and just overloading your partner.

The raid has been out for a while[/u][/b]. After the person in middle uses his power, run back, you'll have about 4-5 seconds before the aura is passed again. -sword Knights (caused by people in middle not paying attention, or you just sitting there saying "oh look a knight, IMMA give it a hug") You guys should not be this clueles at the easiest part of the raid [b][i][u]and just because one person dies does not make it a wipe [/u][/i][/b] I've done this part with 4 people it's not hard

Those side platforms are a joke (especially left side). You simply spawn-kill the acolytes and kill any knights or thralls coming down from mid. The boomer is a 1-shot with a high impact sniper (if you are running a lower impact sniper, you really should switch). If you are having trouble with that then you are clearly a burden to the team. You shouldn't need a time call out, but if you are unsure, ask for the time and then simply spawn-kill the knight since you know when it's spawning. When I run the raid, I make it clear that the person getting the aura needs to kill the knight. If they can't, they don't deserve to be carried through the raid. If they happen to be out of special ammo, that's fine, just call it out. Those extra few seconds allow the person with deathsinger's power to kill more enemies at mid which are the only thing that is moderately threatening.

For hard mode I had some difficulty with totems. The real thing that screws everyone into a downward spiral is seeing someone die on the other side, then panicking because "how are we gonna beat it with 5 ppl oh noes!"

The only time you could die is when you are in the center, if you aren't paying attention.

We were doing Kings Fall Hard Mode. We, being level 310's, blew through the raid. We were in a time crunch. Only 2 hours to complete it and XxboyXxkillaXxx had wasted 45 minutes on the jumping puzzle. We blew through Warpriest and Gogoroth. 30 minutes. Once again XxboyXxkillaXxx refused to switch from blink and wasted 20 minutes on the second jumping puzzle. We destroy the sisters in 5 minutes, the 6 of us pumping into Oyrx's Daughters. We have 20 minutes to kill Oyrx. We wipe twice, both times because of XxboyXxkillaXxx refusing to kill the ogres, claiming he is a pacifist. 10 minutes left. We do considerable damage to Oyrx in the first 3 rounds considering XxboyXxkillaXxx jumped off the side in the beginning shouting random Bill Nye quotes. Fourth round. I grab the relic easily. One guy dies by jumping into the ship. Another from the Vessel. 3 people left. We stagger Oyrx, but they don't make it to the blights. It is just me. I do barely just enough damage to Oyrx to bring him to the front. I accidentally reload my ToM, and run out of bullets killing an Aycolyte. I don't have time to use a primary synth. I put my last 3 sniper shots into Oyrx but it isn't enough. I can't use my sword. I am doomed. Oyrx chuckles. Ready to end my life. BUT WHAT IS THIS?! IN THE BOTTOM CORNER OF THE SCREEN! *Shesmynerd has joined the fireteam*. I see him rise above Oyrx. Cast in a veil of light. "Feel my wrath! For my name is Shesmyne... HE SHOT ME THROUGH A WALL!" *Guardian Down" Crap. Oyrx chuckles again. Tbaggs Shesmynerd and messages him, "Git gud skrub". BUT WHAT IS THIS! HOPE! *Smoggypluto has joined the fireteam* I hear the thud of a Sunbreaker super being used. He appears in a silhouette of light. The light slowly dies away and I see him. Smoggypluto. "I am not worthy", I cry. He looks at Oyrx. He opens his mouth but Morgan Freeman's voice comes out. "This is my swamp". He lifts up his Y10 Gjallihorn and kills Oyrx in one shot, while simultaneously Tbagging Shesmynerd's ghost. We all get our rewards. All 330 Light, except for XxboyXxkillaXxx, he gets shards. I didn't see mine. I sniffle and ask Smoggy what I got. "Check you're inventory." I completely missed Smoggy's misspelling of "your". I inspect myself and ghasp. Primary equiped: Y2 Thorn. Pre nerf. Chestpiece: Twilight Garrison. Secondary: Better Than Yours, exotic sniper. Heavy. I choke back tears. I must be strong for Smoggy. His Y10 Gjallahorn. Signed by Bill Nye, the Science guy. "Smoggy is love. Smoggy is life." I stammer. He hops on Xylar, The Timeless. "Black Ops 3 is going to kill Destiny", XxboyXxkillaXxx remarks. "Shut up Meg", Smoggy says. He winks at me and flies away to help others in need. "Smoggy is love. Smoggy is life." I repeat. The sound of Shesmynerd crying faintly in the background.
