Well it's official, aim assist is real (bullets curve)
People using high aim assist weapons in crucible with claims of elitism shall forever be branded as bot users.
The bullet curving is real and it's about damn time it was brought to light.

Edit: wow, this is actually trending. Let's make one thing clear from here before commenting; I am fully aware of the fact that other fps console shooters have aim assist.
What I'm saying is that this game specifically has WAY too much of aim assist. Top that off with terribly unbalanced PvP in general and boom goes the dynamite

Is this news to anyone? I noticed the first time I played that the aim assist in this game was higher than in most console FPSs. It's not an unfair advantage tough, everyone has equal access to it. It's just part of the baseline for Destiny.

4 commentairesU act like this is something new. It's been well established that aim assist on primaries affects bullet magnetism. Why do u think hidden hand was so predominant for crucible during house of wolves. The perk is literally to boost aim assist. Same with a few scopes on different weapons. The only different one is snipers where it affects aim drag over targets instead. Go in pve with a high and low aim assist weapon and try shooting at cabal phalanxes. It is actually harder to shot the hand with a high aim assist weapon because the magnetism draws the shot toward their head. This is even a tracked stat in the armory that you can look up for each weapon. Usually if you die behind a wall however, it's lag. Crucible does not make a good testing ground because of the high number of people lagging even a little.

Where you aim isn't where you shoot. You know this right? When the dot shimmies over to a position, that's not where the bullet will land. The bullet will land where the dot usually is, unless not aiming or in the air.

After playing today in the year old PvP i would recommend Bungie give up trying to do it. Lag and spawn are still issues, shotguns over powered, etc

Why does this even matter? There isn't any Destiny World Championship to be competed for and there's only a handful of people on these forums who would even be competitive at that level even if there were. Just play the -blam!-ing game and quit your crying.

2 commentairesYeah way too much AA. Hand cannons shouldn't have much at all since they should reward precision... instead they've got tons of AA and tons of randomness in the shot location. Not for a marksman at all.
