Black ops 3 will put a major dent into destiny.
Title said it all.. beta player and faithful to destiny since day one and even I know I'll be leaving destiny till the next dlc to play black ops 3. Call of duty has gave itself a bad name since ghost was released and most can agree that black ops 2 was the last good cod and now that treyarch is less than a day and 10 hours from releasing black ops 3 destiny will suffer a huge fan base leaving. I love both pve and pvp destiny but since 2.0 update the rewards don't seem don't drop and rng has become worse. Kings fall just doesn't seem rewarding and trials is all full of snipers which I don't mind it's just boring since both teams have to wait each other out to pick of one by one. Fallout will be a huge hit as well but a single player game could only do so much now that most players like the multiplayer experience and be able to play with friends. Like it even matters to activision since they gain money from both destiny and cod.

Think about it....
Halo 5, black ops 3, and battlefront will kill destiny in the pvp aspects.
Fallout 4 itself will kill destiny in the pve section.
Destiny is dead if they don't do something quick and knowing bungie they're not doing shit.
The best part is when people say "cod is for kids" yet they are playing a game about a space magic man who goes by "guardian" and pew pew aliens to save the world lol

The next month in general is going to put a dent in Destiny period. BungieVision is all about getting you to increase your game play in their game. What's there 3 or 4 major titles hitting starting tomorrow. What's BungieVision going to do starting tomorrow to keep Destiny's players playing destiny?

I know right! There is no way to play more than one game at the same time. I am going to use my yearly blood sacrifice so I can play nothing but bad ops 3. Still on the fence for Bo3. Everyone I play with on Destiny has already prepurchased it but I don't trust the zombies. All I wanted was grief and it seems they have done away with that aspect.

I'll agree and disagree. I played the bo3 beta and it seemed pretty awesome. I hated aw but me and multiple people I know are really hoping bo3 stays awesome. If it does I'll probably be done with destiny. I love destiny and it's easily one of the best games I've ever played but honestly I've grown tired of it. I just don't have the same motivation to keep grinding for stuff.

Seriously, nobody is saying Destiny is a BAD game, every single one of these threads is the result if a Day 01 Destiny gamers finally breaking. We are just finally tired of this over extended grind and time gated items. I did and I'm year one, the grind in me is no longer there, look at my history in Destiny and see that my activity has changed much. Everything you listed about Destiny are all valid points and I believe that Bungie was not anticipating this under these respects. If the forums, just a little dead and alot more threads about fustrated players, especially the hardcore crowd who is always defending blindly, they are now seeing the "lights". Like the OP, Ill be back for the next DLC in the meantime, other games call an maybe Ill log into a reset to see what changes.

^This is so damn true. I couldn't agree more. Destiny will still have some gamers. Maybe the noobs, but they will take a hit in activity for sure. 2016 will be hit even harder.

Call of duty is dead if by some chance this game revives the franchise than it would be a miracle but on the bright side the little kids will always follow call of duty so cheers to the more mature community who stays with destiny
