I've played video games for about 20 years now. I have a very simple philosophy when it comes to playing games with others. Have fun. That does not mean to hope it turns out to be fun. It means "do" have fun. It's a conscious decision to be a good player... to enjoy the community... the shared experience. The minute it becomes about yourself, stop playing with others. Destiny is a community game. If you can't play nice with others, find another game. That means checking your ego at the door and it means being patient with others. I find one of the most enjoyable parts of the game to be helping others. Ok, I admit sometimes I get irritated with others. Sometimes I get mad at others for getting ahead of me in game but I try to remind myself to be happy for others the way I would want others to be happy for me. I especially have to remind myself to be patient and enjoy playing with others even when we've played the same checkpoint twenty times! Let's all have fun and spread the positive attitude that makes this a fun place to come together with other gamers :)
