Note - video above is me getting my spindle with 0 seconds left on the clock. We killed the last enemy just as the timer hit 0 and barley made it, a guide for players who don't know what to do is below :) Even though it has been nerfed it's still a great gun to have for the raid and strike bosses so grab it while you can! If you're new then here are some tips for you guys below. [b][u]What is the black spindle?[/u][/b] The black spindle is the exotic version of the black hammer which was acquired in the crotas end raid. The hammer was a highly sought after weapon in the raid as it's main perk allowed you to shoot a bosses crit spots over and over again without ever wasting ammo and every 3 shots you hit in quick succession refunded the bullets you just used and refilled the mag instantly without reload. The current perk now however uses ammo rather then having infinite. [b][u]How do I get this gun?[/u][/b] Well it's simple but can be pretty tricky for low level players. You can [b]Only[/b] get this gun if the current daily story mission is [b]Lost To Light[/b]. You can follow my video above to find out what you basically have to do but in text, you must collect the shard needed to capture crotas soul. After doing so you need to collect one tomb husk to open a door, do so. Next room collect two, do that and follow the path along until the third room. When you enter this room you will see a door open straight ahead that would take you to the strike [b][u]The Shadow Thief[/u][/b]. Once you get onto the ketch you have 10 minutes from when you encounter the first enemy to clear the entire ship full of taken, failing to do so will end the mission as a failure and you have to start from the very start. Best advice is to take out all the majors & blights ASAP as majors will be the big damage dealers and blights will keep spawning taken until destroyed. When you reach the final room, focus on some of the blights first (I prefer the left hand side when you come in) then focus on the boss. Once he is down clear up all ads and you should earn yourself your exotic sniper! You can also earn an awesome looking ship from this also. [b][u]Good light level?[/u][/b] 285+ is a good enough level to attempt this. Any questions then leave them below :)
