It's not OP. The reason for so many hammers is one of the SB abilities is for more hammers to be thrown. It's not an easy aim super like golden gun, that can be snipe from across the map. Why should a Titan super give him a lot of armor? Cause he's a Titan, there suppose to be the strongest in defense. How to avoid it? Hear the hammer? RUN! Or kill him! As a Titan I've out ran hammers and kill them.

High Impact Sniper = Not 1 Headshot Shotpackage or any good shotgun = 2 shot headshot/2 body + Melee GOLDEN GUN = 2 shots This much defense is reasonable? Please explain your reasoning so you can educate the ignorant who don't main a Titan. :)

Spindle is a one shot headshot.
-
Also if ONE sniper is a one shot headshot what about these other problems?
-
What problems?
-
Modifié par Bill Clinton : 10/10/2015 5:15:55 PMgg doesn't one shot. Shotguns don't one shot to the face but they do to bd
-
Celestial Nighthawk
-
Example. Had to use thorn to counter thorn
-
No you didn't.
-
You have just described why it's op. You should not limit your play style to counter a super. Also one shot gg is trash in pvp
-
Modifié par mokmuud : 10/10/2015 5:28:25 PMYou don't have to limit yourself I was just telling you a way to one shot with golden gun. I've seen plenty of videos of Sunbreakers getting killed all kinds of ways. People just like to whine instead of adjusting their play style.

Modifié par Bill Clinton : 10/10/2015 4:43:03 PMI have hit a sb with a Spindle and I can tell you, it doesn't one shot to the head or body

Ok. So, would it be balanced if Gunslingers got a perk that gave them two extra Golden Gun shots? "It's not the super, it's a perk." Or how about if Bladedancers could use Hungering Blade and Encore at the same time? "It's not the super, it's the perks". Sunbreaker has a problem. The problem is one that is going to be heavily exacerbated in Trials, and unfortunately Bungie is waiting on Trials data before they make a decision on how to deal with it. Here's the problem. We'll take two players, Bob and Joe. Bob is mediocre at PvP at best and has a K/D of about .9. Joe is better, and usually wins his gun fights. He has a K/D of 1.2. Bob and Joe independently play Trials (or Elimination). Bob gets carried by his teammates for the first two rounds, gets a kill with a rocket on round 3, and gets his super on round 4. Joe scores several kills on rounds 1 and 2, and gets his super on round 3 but doesn't want to use it on the Heavy round. If the two players are playing Gunslinger, Bob is more likely to miss one of his shots. Maybe he gets one kill and Joe gets two. That's fine, Bob has less skill than Joe. If they're playing Bladedancer, Bob might get a kill or two and then die to teamshots/shotguns/a good sniper. Joe might be able to get the whole team but he is in a much more dangerous situation than he is on Gunslinger. If they're playing Sunbreaker, both of them pop their supers near the enemy team, get a triple down, and do a dance to celebrate their wrecking ball medal, unless the enemy has two snipers that both know where they're coming from and both shoot him before he gets a kill on one of them.

I would be fine with GG getting 2 more shots with a perk, if it added travel time, cut aim assist at least in half, and the bullets shot in an arc not straight.
-
But would you be fine with it getting six more shots, instead of two? Because that's Hammer of Sol. Hammer of Sol doesn't have five shots.
-
Yeah I would, if they added travel time around the speed of the hammers, they reduced the aim assist by at least half, and made the bullets not shoot exactly straight I would be fine with it.
-
Sure you can do those things for the Hunter. Then let's make GG have travel time and you switch to 3rd person and can't ADS. And you can hook bladedancer up but let's get rid of all the invisibility and blink and stuff like that. No more chain of woe oh and no throwing knives either.
Sure you can do those things for the Hunter. Then let's make GG have travel time and you switch to 3rd person and can't ADS.
Now Golden Gun is worthless because it has half as many shots as Sunbreaker has hammers and has no splash damage. If your aim isn't good enough on Gunslinger, you're dead (or only got one kill). If it isn't good enough on Sunbreaker, you probably splashed them with your AoE and throw another Hammer for the kill. Now you have 4 Hammers left and you're at full health (Thanks Cauterize + Forgemaster!)
And you can hook bladedancer up but let's get rid of all the invisibility and blink and stuff like that. No more chain of woe oh and no throwing knives either.
Chain of Woe/Gunslinger's Trance and Throwing Knives almost never grant an extra kill. Throwing Knives have travel time. Throwing Knives aren't even a one-shot kill on precision hits with burn. Invisibility is mostly worthless in PvP - its only utility is to be hidden from radar so you can get close enough to use your super in the first place (or a shotgun, if that's what you're into). Blink is Blink. I won't even try to defend it because I don't like it in PvP or PvE. It gives two subclasses invulnerability to rockets and supers based on user skill.
-
You don't have to be a good aim with GG you can aim 6 feet away and still kill them. Also the combustion perk on GG is bigger than HoS's AoE.
-
So you're saying the titan should be balanced but the Hunter should be underpowered?
-
No I'm saying the other subclasses have many things going for them outside of their supers. Sunbreakers don't.
-
Stop lying to yourself. The sunbreaker has the highest tracking sticky grenade and the grenades and melee heal on kill. Which with a ohk grenade isn't hard
-
All the classes have similar perks what's your point?
-
No other class has grenades that can heal. My point was the sunbreaker is definitely still good outside of its super
-
Modifié par mokmuud : 10/10/2015 2:25:50 PMThey all have their own ways to heal. Titans can't turn invisible or blink so let's get rid of those. See how silly that sounds. Cauterize is hardly ever triggering outside the super.
-
Not like invisibility is good PvP so that's already invalid. And sunsingers, gunslinger, stormcaller, and nighstalker don't have blink. They're still good.
