Question for the girls...
Why do girls always gravitate towards assholes? I don't want to offend anyone, as i have a met some very nice females here, but i just don't get it.

18 commentairesI'm so sorry for the following insane rant: It's amazing, truly, these terms. "Nice guys" are nice guys because they say so. "Assholes" are assholes because nice guys say so. Forgive me for saying but a startling amount of self-proclaimed "nice guys" that I've met are the furthest thing from nice. Yeah, some women choose WRONG. An actual asshole might be abusive, unfaithful, unsupportive, etc. But that's not what most men mean when they bitch about how women choose "assholes." What they are really whining about is that they didn't cosmically get assigned a super hawt (aka "10") lady just by virtue of existing. Simply existing doesn't make you nice. Never arguing, never making waves, being a perfectly agreeable pollyanna- these don't make you nice either. Standing up for what you believe, helping people who need it, working for a better world, trying, doing, caring- THESE require assertiveness, courage, confidence, and inner strength. And yet those things are associated with "assholes." Why do we all somehow think that being nothing and doing nothing makes us "nice?" What the -blam!- is "nice" anyway? Like, "nice day today?" You say that on a day you're never going to remember. On a day that imprints itself in your memory, the PERFECT day, you don't waste your time with bland words like "Nice." I believe it's the same with men and women. I say people are "Nice" when I have literally nothing else to say about them.

Depends on what kind of a.hole you're talking about. Depending on the ladies maturity levels, if a person portrays confidence then us ladies will be drawn towards him straight away. You don't really get to find out much about the person straight away if you're young, because you want to be in a relationship with them. If you're a little more mature and you know what to look for, confidence will be a minor trait you look for. That's when intelligence, wit, humour come in.

A nice guy can have confidence. Nothing in the rule book states otherwise. I think it would have been better to ask, why do women seem to like to get their asses beat and verbally abused and stay with the douche? Quite honestly I wouldn't want anyone who is dumb enough to stick around a douche like that. Trying to fix some mentally scarred chic is too much damn work and not worth the hassle when you can go out and find someone who doesn't carry a large mental baggage.
