Our glimmer is shared between characters, our marks are shared between characters, our weekly and daily activity rewards are shared between characters, but our reputation gains remain individual to one character. Leveling up factions is a lot of work, and it only adds to that when we have to do it separately on each of our characters. So shared reputation gains between our characters would make the faction portion of the game much more user friendly.

1 commentaireWell, since weapons are shared it doesn't really matter which character belongs to a certain faction. Where this comes into play is in regards to armor since armor is class specific; unfortunately, all faction armor (and weapons) start at 280 light which is lower than what you can get from drops. You could conceivably reach 280+ light b4 attaining the appropriate rank to purchase different gear making the factions virtually worthless past a certain point.

4 commentairesAt that point, why have three characters? Why not one character that can equip the desired class the way they can equip the desired subclass now?

I see three factions and three character slots. So it wouldn't make any difference to me. If somebody wants to double down on DO or something, that's cool. But I don't think the shared faction rep would really add anything to the game.

4 commentairesHell no ... It takes long enough having to share my reward with crucibobs and vango that leveling up is slow having the Rep further split by characters would be a -blam!-ing mare
