  • Even the new sidearm that has 145 attack(i think) is just tearing through these Cabal and Vex.. Why would you want to use weak weapons for the new PvE enemies? Do you want your light level to be forever low? The perks on even the rare weapons are better than alot of my legendary weapon perks. That has to speak to the quality of the new weapons. Give that one test pulse rifle better stability, and that thing would get more use than the old legendary counterparts.

  • My light level won't be low for long actually. I'm sure there'll be acceptable weapons to come but sorry, I don't agree at all. My 170s are just as effective as higher weapons so far and both Gally and IB rule. Moreover, the perks? New perks are simply asinine.

  • Well, from what I've seen so far... I've got a rocket launcher that loads faster when I'm surrounded. It has a second perk for flared mag well. Maybe these stack? I love to reload my rockets when I'm surrounded. An auto rifle that has a 'chance' to refill when I'm critically wounded, cause I'm not gonna be running, hiding and reloading for full mag at that point anyway? Another deals more damage when enemies are close together. I can shoot them if they're close together. Kills that give me an 'enhanced tracker' - for a short time. Cause Bungie doesn't want the weapon to have an enhanced tracker all the time or God forbid a third eye? Year one perks were actually useful. Imagine that? I realize the apologist base will claim weapon creep and other considerations, few of which they're qualified to claim but for me, the one (and probably only) thing Bungie got right (somewhat) were some fun weapons and perks.
