Is it "Earned" or "Random Drop"?
Settle this mess here.
Is getting an exotic drop from a chest, Boss, engram, strike, or crucible earning it, or is it RNG?

Technically destiny drops are RNG based meaning you never earned squat. But doing the WEEKLY HEROIC strikes you earned your strange coins through those. Therefore using them for buying stuff from Xur is technically being earned. Even though he runs on RNG, the strange coins you used to buy gear from Xur were earned and spending them on him is earning the gear.

1 commentaireThe only exotics that are earned are the bounty ones, ToO, and Iron Banner gear. Otherwise, it's random.

1 commentaireI say "random drop" is not earning it... But I DO believe that there are some items better left for that RNG just to keep them rare and godly, such as the Gjallarhorn. With that said, congrats on your purchases today everyone. If you stuck around long enough for today to happen, you earned it.
