4 Primary Type of Gjallarhorn Owners in Destiny
1. Mr./Ms. Lucky: Basically RNG just gave them the Gjallarhorn after a couple of weeks of Nightfalls and a couple raid completions.
2. Workaholic: [b]Three[/b] Gorgon chests, Atheon's, Deathsingers, Crota's, and Nightfalls [b]Every Week[/b] for several months. If post HoW, same as before with the addition of [b]Three[/b] Queens bounties for treasure keys, PoE's, and Lighthouse runs. Again only to be rewarded with the Gjallarhorn after several months.
3. Mr./Ms. Unlucky: they played the endgame content like the workaholics but ultimately only saved from their cursed luck by Xur.
4. Lazy guardian(busy with real life)/Noob(just started): Lazy's spend more than 25% of their time playing patrol, have done a few raids, PoE's, Nightfalls, and weekly strikes none with any consistency. Just purchased Gjallarhorn from Xur.
Edit: 5. Early conquer with superb foresight: purchased Gjallarhorn week 2.
What type are you?
Did you work your tail off week after week watching your fireteam get their third or fourth? Are you just a lucky two shoes? Are you a mix lucky and new?
Are you as stoked for everyone to get their hands on the Gjallarhorn as I am? No matter where they fall?

Mr Lucky Casual only done 1 raid and a few Nightfalls. Got it in my first PoE 28 chest.

Workaholic, but got them on minimal effort randomly. Two at gorgons and one on vanguard strikelist

It was the last piece I needed for 32 and it just wouldn't drop. Took me over a month to get it. I got gjallahorn and everyone way so pumped. I was excited but it wasn't the helmet. Though maybe it was my good luck charm. As I got the helmet the next week. [spoiler]Edited for spelling. I'm on a phone so give me a small break. Maybe?[/spoiler]

Wasn't even excited about Xur Feel way better about my Juju than either of my Suros, Last Word, or Patience and Times. Damn Fulcrum was the worst. Levelling FWC to level 3 to get that shat? Took freaking forever. Between kids, full time job, angry ex, and still trying to get my ===D wet, Destiny is far from the top of my priority list. Hell #yay #filthymitts

I guess I fall under being a Mr unlucky... I've played since day one and put over 800 hours into destiny and I only just bought gjally from xur since one of the last ones I need that requires only rng to get. To clarify the ones I need now are the three from Poe (working on first elders cipher currently), necrochasm (I have husk, I'm just working on Eris to get the embalming orb but then I'll still need crux of crota) and the vex. That's it I think... Well there are the ps exclusives but I'm Xbox so oh well...

Somewhere between 3 and 4. I got destiny a few days before HoW dropped and I never bought the dlc so it's just been VoG 3 times a week ever since I levelled up my characters. I'm probably going to sell destiny sometime before TTK drops (ps3 player, won't have the memory for it but I hope to get destiny again sometime in the future if/when I get a ps4)

What about the people just do crucible because they couldn't get it from pve, ultimately getting it one day from a raid or nightfall after not doing one for a couple months.

Beetwen 1-2.... I used to do everything to get all the exotics... but gjallarhorn wasnt that important back then... was wishing more for thunderlord.... suddenly got invited to nightfall alrdy on boss with just a hits away to die..... and then got it...... second gally.... from being 4th on iron banner...3rd from a legendary engram... game really loves to give ppl the stuff you never want... since I had 2 gallys alrdy before getting finally thunderlord back then
