it's weird how some of you can justify that one form of cheating is okay(cheesing) because Bungie hasn't done anything about it, but are willing to crucify another group of people because their cheating takes away from their experience or affect someone else negatively.
The fact that you made this statement and still don't understand... I'm inclined to believe that you may be a PvP cheater in hiding.
Cheesing in PvE rarely ever affects others negatively. In most cases it benefits everyone involved.
Cheating in PvP always affects others negatively, ruining everyone's experience except the person cheating.
I mean, it's really quite simple to comprehend.

Well according to your logic would hacking the game and giving everyone a gjallarhorn be cheating? Everyone benefits. Even though its not really possible
-
It would be cheating because you break the code to do something that would be otherwise impossible.
-
Go ahead, I'll just shard the hunk of junk.
-
Conpletely besides the point but i guess
-
Not really, if someone (including bungie) gives me one, it's going towards the Thunderlord that I'll inevitably get. That weapon is the worst thing to ever grace a game. Instant easy mode button. As for a PERSON hacking the game, it's wrong. But cheesing (save for the crota exploit) is not hacking.
-
That's cheating.
-
Do you have to hack in order to cheese anything in PvE right now? No?... oh, ok.
-
Hacking isn't the only way to cheat. My ducking God.
-
You clearly don't know the difference between cheating and cheesing. You think they're one in the same, when in fact they are not. You've really shown quite a bit of ignorance in this thread. There's a reason why majority of us that posted in your thread disagree with you. There's no such thing as a wrong opinion... but I believe your opinion may be the exception.
-
But by your logic it benefits everyone
-
By my logic, if you ban one group of people because they cheated "this way," they should ban the people who cheated the "other way" as well.
-
My logic doesn't include or condone hacking... every cheese in PvE is an exploit in poor game design. No tampering required. To cheat in PvP, you actually have to tamper with certain settings and connections. That's not an exploit. That's just straight up cheating. If someone used some kind of program to hack PvE or tampered with their connection, they should be banned also. But that's not the case. You keep trying to use my "logic" against me, but you're failing. How can you use my logic against me if you don't even comprehend it??

OP was homeschooled by his mom. That's why he can't comprehend anything.

Ooooooo burn. Bump
-
It really is simple, this guy is a moron

Modifié par AntharPrime : 7/30/2015 7:12:39 PMUltimately it's up to Bungie to decide what they consider to be cheating. Where they saw flaws in PvE they have made changes where they wanted to. In PvP they have banned players in ToO for doing the same network manipulation, they are obviously pouring more emphasis on the PvP.
-
True... and that's probably because of how others are affected negatively in PvP. Most "game breaking" PvE exploits end up being patched sooner or later. So Bungie banning intentional laggers is their way of patching a PvP exploit... it's either that or put up dedicated servers. They took the cheaper option.
