Okay. So I've been playing Destiny for quite a while, but I just haven't had a chance to try raids yet. I figured VoG would be a good start, but first I have a few questions:
1. I don't have a mic. Is it suggested I get one?
2. For someone new to this, how difficult would it be?
3. Are people in chat usually huge douches? I'm not a fan of huge douches.
4. Are the raids really as complex as I hear?
Sorry if I'm a noob at this. I used to raid ages ago in WoW, but Destiny has not got me, yet - I find the possibility of dealing with a-holes in chats an enormous deterrent :/
If anyone would be willing to help run me through VoG a first time with a team, teach me the ropes, etc., I would be overjoyed and extremely grateful! :)

2 commentairesMics are not required, but people definitely prefer if you have one, but as long as I would say 3 people have mics you won't be in for too much communication trouble. Most people are not douches but a lot of people can be impatient when they have to restart over and over. I would take time finding a group that is laid back. The raid may feel complex at first but it's very easy once you run it a few times. If you can find people willing to walk you through and watch videos that explain the raids it still should be easy on your first go. Good luck!

3 commentaires1) Mics aren't required, as long as the other people have Mics you should be fine. 2) The Raids aren't even hard (even in Hard mode) as you're above 32. 3) Some people can be, while others aren't. Most of the Destiny Community is nice and willing to help others 4) The Raids aren't complex, it's just on the first few times it's confusing but after time you'll get used to them.
