Why Complain about what we asked for?
Why are people still complaining about this we as a community wanted to be able to buy the collecters edition stuff separately. Then they offer us a chance to get them for a price if we want. If you find value in it buy it if not don't its totally your choice, There not forcing you to buy it. Edit:1 You guys do realize that this is basicly the veterans edition we wanted for 60 dollars ( Ttk Plus Collectors edition items) That 30 thousand people signed a petition for.

11 commentairesI didn't ask for this. I know a lot of you did but I didn't. For me, Deej said that day 1 players would be getting better stuff than what people who bought the limited edition or the collectors edition were getting. I'm still waiting to see what these 'better' items are. All they've done so far is reiterate what I already knew we were getting ( the shader, the emblem and the sparrow ) and as luck has it anyone who purchases Destiny before 2016 still gets these 'day 1' items. Tell me Bungie how are really going to reward those of us who have who poured our time and money into this game since day 1. You already got €139.99 for the limited Edition that I pre ordered back in 2013, your now asking me for another €39.99 and are telling me you are rewarding me for being here since day 1 so where is the reward?

How some don't understand the concept: "don't like it, don't buy it", or " it's optional ". Screaming masses: " we must have this for free because ( insert crown of entitlement) Me: *face palm*.( insert expletive) Destiny will have my money regardless, of price,because, it brings enjoyment to myself and others I play with. What about the physical collectors content? Will we get that in the mail? Specifically what was the issue is that the collectors edition should have been the extra loot plus TTK for 60 bucks as a stand alone.

We shouldn't be paying anything extra at all. Most of us have paid far more already and got very little for it. Charging $20/£20 for nine pieces of code is absolutely ridiculous. The only items in there that will affect your game are the exotics and you can only use one of them at a time. TTK alone is already too expensive, especially since they haven't outlined in concrete what it includes to actually make it worth that amount (if the previous expansions are anything to go by, I'm not holding my breath). People are being charged full game price for something that won't include that much. We get one new subclass, one new area and a bit of story, which will probably play out over a handful of the same areas. The CE content should be included free of charge for the original players, especially considering the VIP content will be accessible to new players who need only play for a few weeks. Hardly exclusive to the original players.

2 commentairesYou question why people aren't passive about this, and I question why the Bungie community had to basically riot, in the first place, for Bungie to show the very least amount of recognition their way. You would think after the last two lackluster DLCs, and a broken beta game; Destiny wouldn't have the gull to attempt another blatant cash grab by feasting off their most affectionate fans, but their insatiable greed sees no boundaries. For many it's about the principle. Our player to developer relationship has been a one-way totalitarianism, where all voices, in this supposed community based MMO, have been washed out with a overshadowing public relations megaphone, proclaiming how great a purple ball is in the Tower or how we've been yearning for Guardian facial hair. So yeah, the cuts run very deep and this latest lash out against Bungie, is just one battle in a deeper struggle that begun when we were sold a game that bore no resemblance to the version we saw at E3.

3 commentaires1. Some people are impossible to satisfy. So they'll just continue to complain, because that's what they do. 2. The CE isn't the real issue. The real issue is that the DLCs in Destiny aren't optional like they are in games that are organized around sequels. So its easier on the ego to complain about being "disrepected" and "cheated"...than it is to say "I dont' have the money."

Just as ridiculous as someone saying "I've been driving for 30 years I don't need to check my blind spot". Your entitlement means nothing. It's a game. It's an MMO. 8 commentairesIt does seem quite a bit like moving the goal posts, you're certainly not wrong. It really comes down to those items not being worth the same price as HoW and TDB, you know? I think, after the Eurogamer cluster, The $20/£20 price tag is just too hard to stomach when both previous expansions cost the same.

The Taken King is overpriced at $40, considering both the existing DLC's were sold for $35 and (this is an assumption) include more content than TTK. TTK should be sold as a DLC for no more than $20. As a 'season pass' holder, I feel that is still exorbitant as it is still 33% of the original value of the entire game. The Collector's Edition is priced a double what I feel comfortable paying, too. $10 would be reasonable. $20 is asinine. Now, do I have $60 to 'throw at my screen?' Yes. I doubt I will buy the Collector's Edition, unless they show us a new ghost, sparrow and ship. Perhaps they could throw in a Christopher Walken Ghost voiceover as a goodwill gift, too. Essentially, I would be more than happy to wad up a Jefferson and Hamilton combo and 'throw it at' my LCD. $40 for TTK only is BS. At least throw in the Collector's Edition to make day one players feel like we're being valued.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. What Bungie is doing, is adding micro-transactions. Many games have this already, like Datto says in the video, World of Warcraft offers a mount for $25, League of Legends offers skins for $10-$15, and Hearthstone offers new characters that really make no difference for $10. You need to realize that you don't have to buy this stuff. Bungie has been given a lot of heat as of late due to these recent events and they're trying to fix things. I will admit I too was annoyed and mad and was a little hot headed with what I saw and even got pissed and called Bungie out. But now I realize it's just like every other game. I see the error in my ways. It may not make the biggest difference but they have those players who will buy It because they love the game wholeheartedly and want to be a major part of the game and they can then be able to say I have the VIP and CE content. Those players are the commited fans and you can call me whatever you want, you can say I'm just another player who is brainwashed by corporate greed but I am just trying to let people know that every game does this, and Bungie isn't the first nor the last company to do micro-transactions. But I will say this as I did trash at Bungie earlier in the week that I am sorry to have done so and that they are just like any other gaming company. There is nothing here that makes them worse, and they are trying to fix their mistakes and I hope that you guys see this, as there are hopefully many more who see it my way and understand. 4 commentairesThe thing that people haven't realized is that in an interview with DeeJ, he told of new rewards that will be better than those of the CE plus the VIP we are already getting. So people say they wanted something done for VIP's? Well items are on their way, but have yet to be disclosed.

I was more likely to buy the taken king before the fiasco of the last couple of days.
