Playstation hawkmooners I have a question
What is the point of the hawkmoon?The perks are literally there just to give you the potential of a 2 shot kill. But this is chance, thorn is not. Thorn will almost always give you a two shot kill. So my question is why doesn't every one just use thorn. I would rather go with almost always than sometimes.
Btw I'm on xbox if you couldn't tell

You sir haven't held this weapon in your guardian's hands looked down it's sights and pulled the trigger. Meh, I'm happy to have one but I'd rather use my red hand. And I just got an Arc Six Dreg so... Oh, and -blam!- thorn. I was more content to complete the bounty than to use the weapon.

It can one shot. The mag is nice. The range is nice. The sound is nice. The gun is just that nice.

I've been 1 shot by hawkmoon quite a few times.

The lucky shots can stack!! That's why Hawkmoon occasionally one-shots people!

It's amazing in PvE as well as PvP. Great range but it got nerfed. I think it has quite a lot of aim assist Feels great and sounds great

Hawkmoon is a beast in the PvE side and very serviceable in PvP.

I have all 3 exotic hand guns. I like them all for different reasons: Hawkmoon feels and looks great but the lack of availability to Xbox has overhyped it. TLW I love for the hammer slap and spin animations Thorn I use as my revenge gun when pvp players start their stupid sliding shotgun nonsense. No doubt you'll like it when it comes to Xbox but its not the holy grail.

Has a nice mag size for a HC. Highest impact of exotic HC coupled with good stability, range(with Hammer Forged), and RoF. Sounds like -blam!-ing cannon. Etc.

Truth is, hawkmoon could have it's exotic perks removed and still be one of the best guns in the game. You won't understand until you use it, it's just right

3 in 13 chance for a damage boost, better base impact than Thorn, and less people complain about it.

Here on ps4, trust me me the majority use Thorn in crucible. Not everyone, but most.

7 commentairesHawkmoon is a mini sniper. You can kill people all the way from spawn on Burning Shrine to the other end of the A control point no problem. Plus it has decent rate of fire, and the lucky bullets proc more often than you'd think.

Because it 2 hits them and they are dead, with thorn it will kill them but there is enough time to kill you while they r dying.

Because it's not cheap. It's a perfectly balanced gun that actually feels good to use while still having fun with it. Hawkmoon has been my main pvp gun since the great rise of hand cannons. Trust me you'll understand when you pull the trigger it's just much smoother than the Thorne
