23 strange coins for 1 etheric light added to Xur's inventory
Seems self explanatory, what do you all think.
Adding a PVE non PoE route to 34... Not replacing PoE, just enhancing the experience and finding our own way to play...
Edit 1- Playing full time would allow many opportunities across PoE, trials and occasionally nightfall across 3 chars, on a more casual basis with a work/life/game balance makes this less workable though...
Edit 2- many people either have spare etheric light or none at all, this is an optimistic post hoping to talk about the possibility of Xur helping the lightless minority make it easier for everyone to enjoy content, maybe level a weapon now and then... The day we get to trade between one another this whole need ends but until then this would help.
Edit 3, the resurrection!
Now that light is on the way out and the etheric is going to be essentially useless, shouldn't we get a chance to burn through some of that strange, vibrating green currency in the final weeks!

Consider there won't be anything else until September probably in terms of DLC, I wouldn't be too bothered about not being 34 yet

3 commentairesI can't get any from nightfall and 34 poe isn't happening for me at the moment, and as much as I want some etheric light I don't want xur to sell it. I'm grinding iron banner, which will hopefully mean 34 and 35 poe will be doable soon. Then I'll be on the way to 3 level 34 characters. I am enjoying the game and don't mind if it takes a while. It is a long summer.

6 commentairesHonestly, how are you not swimming in the lights? 3 characters do 34 and 36 each week: 6 light 3 characters do IB this week: 6 light 3 characters do ToO, no flawless: 6 light That's 18 and didn't require you to go flawless on ToO.

2 commentairesThis is a fascinating microcosm of the current state of our economy. Those who are in abundance who have the time, social circles/clans/friends, and just are better than other players are often bragging how they have so many they don't know what to do with. While some people neither have the time nor a core social group of players or the skills to accomplish. And of course others, and I feel it is the minority, who just don't want to spend the time to do the activities. Regardless, this is still a game people paid REAL ACTUAL CURRENCY for which certainly entitles you to play the game how you want, to a certain extent of course. Allowing Xur to sell EL won't diminish anyone's experience. Let me repeat that, ALLOWING XUR TO SELL EL WON'T DIMINISH ANYONE'S EXPERIENCE. Allowing people to rank up whatever armor or weapons won't make anyone better players. Those who constantly wreck scrubs on a weekly basis will continue to wreck scrubs. Those who get wrecked will continually get wrecked. Giving every one the chance to purchase EL will allow more players to experience the game on harder difficulties which, ideally, will improve matchmaking for those who are the casual player and seek out others via lfg sites or the tower and reef. Most half decent players don't understand just how difficult PoE and ToO is for a lot of people. This ,again to stress the point, won't make every player better than before, but hopefully allow them the confidence and armor lvl to get better and be involved in more of the content so people are actually getting better so we have a more capable community then we do now. Now 23 to 30 coins seems reasonable, 1 per character also seems reasonable. How often the purchase can be made is rightly debatable. 3 a week seems like a lot, especially with all of the available options at your disposal. What if Xur sells EL but you can only purchase 3 a month. That's 1 per character per month, on top of IB, ToO, PoE, and Nightfalls. Or you can buy 2 a month across all 3 characters. Giving people a glimmer of hope of competing at higher levels and the chance to get better while also probably getting wrecked along the way. Help your fellow guardians when you can, and remember its just a game you crazy kids.

2 commentairesIt would be nice if like the Iron Banner he sold them with limits for all us players that can't easily get a fireteam together. Say 1 per account weekly for 23 coins. Meaning, not one per character, but per gamertag. Still keeps the "grind" that Bungie loves so much going.

Etheric light is just as useless as any upgrade material anyway once you upgrade what you want.
