Post-update they're all gone, not spawning in on Earth or the Moon. I had a leftover patrol moon bounty, did that, no blades. Thought maybe it was just chance. Did Hive Majors in the basement right next to spawn-in on Earth a bunch of times waiting for a Blade to spawn in while patrolling Earth, it never did (15 mins or so) I got a little more suspicious, did the 6 earth patrols in a bunch of different areas and hung out in each one for 10 mins or so killing a bunch of enemies, not a single blade spawned in. Not sure if this was intentional or not but they have definitely retired, so good luck finding your Husks of the Pit, I guess everyone will just farm Fist of Crota now for the Eris bounties where the Blades are required to complete...
