Unknown Cause of Death
Has anyone had a death (or multiple ones) where you just can't understand how you died? I'm not talking "that shouldn't have killed me" rants.
You legitimately do not know or understand how you died (pvp or pve).
There are some pretty funny ones in here. Thanks for posting; I'm enjoying reading these!

A Titan is playing with his buddy, when he jumps and lands crotch-first on his teammate's head, instantly killing him. Great balls of fire!

i glitched out of the hanger in the tower and below the vanguard handler there is a bundle of missiles, i got in between the two and then tried jumping out i jumped until for some reason it launched me into the underpart of the platform.

I was standing there in the nightfall, killed a psion, and five seconds later I die, no explanation, no grenade or anything, valus didn't kill me. It popped up that the psion killed me by "misadventure" I don't know

5 commentairesRunning sword on CE Hard. Team shots rockets at Crota. I run up toward him about to get hits in, then I just fall dead. No boomers hits, no Crota slash. Just drops dead. I had a third health. It was funny as hell though. It happened in one motion, like I was running and tripped. Lol

A friend war running sword on CE, he just fell over next to crota, when we asked what killed him apparently it was a thrall down in the middle... The other day I ground slammed an oracle during the templar fight, had full shield & health, as I hit the oracle i just died "killed by the architects"... Lol

I know how I died but it was pretty hilarious. I was doing hard raid on Crota and I always try to catch my teammates when jumping into the abyss. I landed first so as I looked up one by one they fell and I missed as the last team mate fell she landed on me and killed me from full health instantly. Made for a very comedic raid run.

I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like landing on a certain surface at the right angle will hurt you. But on the Dark Beyond level, where you open the flood gates at the Temple Of Crota and the hive come spilling out, there's a bunch of rocks and boulders there. Well, I jet packed high up to avoid some Thrall, and I didn't fly very high, but I landed funny and instantly died :(

At first i was confused when hitting a sharp ledge or anything at a high speed but i grew to understand it after glimmer farming exclusion zone.

1 commentaireI remember when I was trying to solo the shreiker path and get the chest I would fire my rocket at the second shreiker and it would blow up in my face. I couldn't understand what the hell was happening. No thralls where around yet the rocket would blow up in my face every time. I came to find out it was those stupid little chains that hang from the cealing. I wasted 2 heavy ammo synth before I realized it...

I was walking up to the kell in their ship.. I ran straight through the door but remembered it was easier to snipe so I tried backing up back out of the room just as the doors closed. Sent me flying into the room where I died.. Another time my titan friend and I melee the same guy at the same time but I get sent flying into a wall. Killing me

This one time... I was climbing the stairs after killing the servitors on the Nexus strike... and a teammate blinked and shoryuken'd my ass into the ceiling. Stupid blink.

I was in crucible and right when I spawned in twilight gap I Titan jumped up and when I fell I died. In the feed it said I was just down but I was like wtf?

Was in VoG Tuesday night, working on the conflux section. We completed phase one, templar summoned his legions. Me, and another guardian, jumped up on that rock structure on the left side, ducked down, and just hung out up there. While sitting up on that rock, out of no where I get Marked x4 (even though I'm no where near green puddles of Vex goo), and die because the Templar death dance happens immediately after. Another raid mate had the same thing happen. It was normal, so we were revived after a few moments, but thought the random marking was weird.

2 commentairesI was doing the Vault a few days ago and I got teleported to Mars, we cleared the Hobgoblins and were shooting the Oracles. Then, as I made my way to the middle of mars I died. It said I had killed myself but to this day I can't figure out how.
