Your Scary Stories/Paranormal/Ghosts/Anything Scary Really.
Post your encounters with the paranormal or just a scary story in general. It doesn't have to be something insane, just something that has happened to you.
The only rule is: it has to have happened to you or someone you know. Don't just write something completely made up.
I might even make this more exciting and rate your stories from a scale of "Spongebob is scarier" to "I shit my pants and might kill myself because being alive is too scary now".

6 commentairesWas up northern Arizona where my grandparents have a decently sized cabin. It's in a small town and everyone's house are close and since its on a golf course everyone has a golf cart to drive around he area. Me and my cousins being young and all back in the day would always drive the cart and go up to this one house way up this mountain that was far from any other house. We always thought it was weird and stuff cuz apparently no one lived there, but yet sometimes lights would be on at night and windows up and things like that. Well night me, my mom, my grandma, and my little sister were driving up the hill to get to the area near the house. Upon reaching the top there is a small turn that you take. When we took the turn I instantly saw what looked like an average sized person but they were all white. The only way I can describe is like a morph suit that's all white. At the time my grandma was freakin out cuz she didn't see it, neither did my sister. My mom was silent through the whole thing, but when we left she said she saw it too. We didn't describe what we saw to each other, but when we got home we described it exactly the same to everyone else, except she said she saw multiple ones moving through the trees.

6 commentairesTrue story. Long time ago, in the evening, my pArents heard on TV that a criminal had been in a wreck, left the scene, and was roaming around out in the woods. My parents saw the police head to our back field searching with flashlights. They left me and my brother in the house and went out back to watch the search. But then me and my brother heard a knock on our front door. Being young and stupid we answers the door. There was a huge bloody cut up man standing in the shadow. He asked if our parents were home and we said yes. He thanked us and left. My parents came back in and we told them the bloody man was at the door.

Its a place my family and I always go to every other year for vacation, but this time it was just my dad and I. We were sitting around the campfire at night when we started to hear this strange rumbling sound coming from somewhere. It was super loud and it sounded like it was coming from miles away. It wasn't cars passing by on the highway that's close-by, it wasn't an animal, it wasn't a jet, and it wasn't thunder clapping because the skies were clear. It kept going on for some time and it eventually stopped. I was pretty freaked out because I had never heard anything like that before. My dad and I couldn't tell where it was coming from. Then later that night at around 3am, that rumbling sound came back and it woke me up. I couldn't go back to sleep so I got my PSP and plugged in my earphones then played until the sun came up. 8 years later, we've gone back multiple times and I have yet to hear that rumbling sound again.

This isn't exactly scary but it's a paranormal thing. One of my older relatives used to live in an older house England in the 1930s. They occasionally encountered lots of paranormal activity, one ghost in particular. They had a piano downstairs, and they often woke up in the middle of the night to hear the sound of the piano playing, but whenever they checked, on one was there. One of her brothers stayed up one night and wired the house with strings or something, to see if anything was actually in the house playing the piano. He fell asleep then woke up to hear it playing, and rushed to where the piano was. Right when he turned the corner the music stopped. Another thing that happened was one time they were all in the room, and the door creaked open, and then the rocking chair started randomly rocking. There was no draft of any kind or air flow. Later, they researched the house and apparently a man was hanged outside the house (it was three stories high, and I guess suitable for a hanging?). Apparently it was friendly and they never had a problem with it. Then again, my memories kinda hazy so I might be missing out on some parts (there were a lot more encounters). But that's about the only kind of paranormal activity I've ever had/heard of.

7 commentairesThe fear of the basement was always present in me. As a kid, the ascent upstairs with the unknown darkness behind me always had me unnerved. Like I could sense someone. Something. I always ran. Ran as fast as I could. Even though the thought of something down there was impossible, I always ran, leaving the darkness behind me. Recently, I had another endeavor which to me down to that basement. Of course, finished with the work, I began to head upstairs. Being older, I didn't run; I mean, only a kid runs up the basement stairs. It was in this slow ascent that the cold fingers wrapped around my ankle, squeezing intently. My heart froze as I heard the words: [spoiler]Finally, you slowed down [/spoiler]

2 commentairesThe scariest thing in my life was my sleep paralysis experience 4 months ago when I woke up too see I had landed in sleep paralysis. Unable to move, I open my eyes to look at my doorway. My blurry vision slowly begins focusing, and I began seeing a figure of man, but I thought it was just my eyes making it. Once my eyes fully adjusted, I blinked once and scared shitless out of nowhere a guy was standing there. He looked at me and smiled, green eyes and goo spilling out of his mouth with metal claws. He then jumped on me and I snapped out of paralysis and he disappeared.

2 commentairesHere's the creepiest. Ok, so I'm sitting at home playing on my phone. I'm home alone, the only other things in there were my three dogs. I was listening to a song and singing along with it. The volume wasn't very high, and I was singing just a little bit louder than the song. All of the sudden, I hear a very distinct "ssshhhh!". As soon as I heard it, I shut the fúck up and paused the song. I looked over to where I'd heard it and saw nothing, but it was obvious I'd just been shushed. It couldn't have been anything else, it sounded completely, 100%, without a shadow of a doubt a shushing noise. It only happened that once, but it was REALLY creepy.
