No one here knows greek gods
:p. That's what I compare the hive gods to.
Example. The hive have many gods. Like the Greeks. Crota Is like the god of war. The son of the king of the gods. But nope they just compare him to Jesus because they think the hive only have one god.
This is comparing the hive gods to the greek.
Orxy is the king of the gods. So orxy = zeus
Crota is the god of war. Crota = Ares
I'm just using greek an example.

5 commentairesThe Vex are based off of Greek Mythos. Just the names alone like Minotaur, Harpy, Cyclops, etc. Although it's interesting... Atheon is definitely a take on the word "atheos", which is Greek for "without a god; godless". Does that mean Atheon considers himself, and not the Vex Mind, a God? Or is Atheon attempting to take some kind of new position as a leader of the Vex? Is that why he's in the Vault of Glass, along with his minions, as some sort of secret base?

3 commentairesIts fairly clear that you don't understand Greek mythology, this boss is this god kinds of fail as there is nothing to support it, using Greek mythology as a comparison you would have to assume that Crota is a demigod at best, his heritage is unknown beyond who daddy is.

4 commentairesOk, am I missing something here... Comparable religions was a thing for me when I was 16(now 40) but why does it have to be Greek mythology. Roman, Norse and Celtic all have pantheons that could fit... Plus Jesus was gods 2nd son.... Adam was his first in Christian mythology

14 commentairesMy gamer tag has a greek god in it...no one can say it remotely correct, and I feel like I'm one of a dozen or so people who know who Dionysus was... I'm not sure I'd compare the Hive gods to the Greek gods. While the family frame work kind of exists, we still don't know the rest of them and how they not only relate to each other, but to the Hive themselves as well as the universe at large. One could also say they have a fair amount of Norse mythology in them as well.

After Gaia popped Uranus out, Uranus shacked up with his mother to have some Titans. But Uranus didn't want no Titans (Go figure), so he ate them after she popped them out. Gaia had enough of it so she had Kronos chop Uranus' genitals off when she popped him out. Then Kronos was king and shacked up with his sister, Rhea. Kronos heard this project that his son would overthrow him so he ate his kids after they were born. Rhea was like "The f**k he's gonna eat any more of my children." So she gave birth to Zeus and secreted him to some island to be raised by goats and women, and Rhea have Kronos a rock instead, which he ate (Go figure, another dumb Titan). Then Zeus grew up off goat's milk and trashed his dad Kronos and named himself king.
