Unfortunately, This Game is Over.
While Destiny has expanded over two of the most populated genres of Video Games (Competitive FPS and FPSRPG), this game is over. With Battlefield Hardline coming onto the scene this week, it brought with it the first well-balanced platform for competitive FPS since the Xbox 360.
And if that isn't enough to completely empty out the Crucible side of Destiny (as if the bullshit patches haven't already ruined it for us), Borderlands is coming out for the next generation platforms next week. And that, as Bungie would put it, would be the final NITC. The amount of players that will be going to a true "Loot and Shoot" game will empty out the rest of Destiny's player base.
Sorry Bungie, but maybe if you had put out a game you had actually advertised, as well as a game that lived up to thee hype, maybe you guys wouldn't have been brushed to the side like you have been.
Regardless, Thanks for the hours of fun Destiny, I might be back if you do something exceptional with House of Wolves, but until then, Goodbye Guardians.

Everyone with descent taste in gaming entertainment realized that this game is a clone producing, treadmill grindfest, with shallow PvE, and horribly unbalanced PvP. They already left to greener pastures. You won't get much love from the leg-humping, brainless bungie drones that remain.

Activision probably figured out that they were gonna run unopposed in 2014 and dumbed the game down to save money. Other game companies are capitalizing on their mistakes and are gonna be spitting out much better games. If they dont deliver on HoW and just use the next three months to create hype.... Well they can kiss destiny good bye. Cause that will piss people off if they do the same shit they did with TDB. Simple as that

If you think Destiny is going to die in the same fashion a lot of new shooters do when the next shiny "AAA" game comes out, you are mistaken. The population stats are out there and will prove this, seek them out yourself and discover the facts.

1 commentaireWell, I just stopped playing a week ago, won't be back till fall if at all. I just couldn't bring myself to do anymore nightfalls or raids. I always get shards/shotguns from the nightfalls lately. I literally haven't gotten anything new that I wanted to use in 2 months. I've been raiding tirelessly for a black hammer or a preatorian foil, and I simply never get them. I can only take a certain amount of disappointment. After wiping 4 times on this weeks nightfall, I just realized that all the grief isn't worth it. I would probably just get shards or a shotgun, so I just turned it off and won't touch it again for a long time. I am just counting my losses and accepting the fact that I wasted many hours on this worthless game. I have found I get more pleasure from building cars.

I'll use my opinion backed up with the countless other times people have pathetically said Destiny is over to say that you are 100% wrong. Battlefield will NOT kill Destiny.
