If you aren't stupid, here's why you'll have glimmer: You can pop a glimmer consumable while doing anything other than crucible, all while completing things you were going to do anyway. All of which earns you rewards, and doesn't waste the time of someone who came prepared. So wrong. Use The last word to dump ammo (or the no land beyond). Hell any hand cannon will do, empty out 2 mags and you should be around 30 rounds, which is enough to do the glitch. Takes about 10 secs to empty those couple mags. I've done all the best farming methods, and let me tell you that they are all boring, and time consuming as -blam!-. 1 whole hour for 25 synthesis isn't good, especially if u raid alot with randoms (and don't tell me to raid with a good raid group, we all know how rare that is). Now back to the heavy glitch u have a problem with; I have heavy synthesis I still do the heavy glitch, either in between synthesis cool down or In The beggining when a teammate is afk for a few secs. I also wear ruin wings, so every 1 of those heavy boxes that falls give me damn near max ammo, from doing the glitch 1 time I can drop crotas shield by myself for the entire raid and still have left over rockets to chuck at sword bearer and ogres(you can use corrective measure as well to get more ammo from the drops). I think ur real problem is people not knowing how to do the glitch properly/efficiently, or you not having the balls/knowledge to ether tell them how to do it quick or tell them not to waste ammo. Either way telling someone to farm for a few hours is out of the question, especially when players have limited time. Bounties take 15-30 mins om avg, finding a fireteam takes another 15 mins on avg. Completing an entire raid takes anywhere from 30mins to 2-3 hours depending on ur team, so for people with only a few hours every other day the glitch is the solution, Especially since Bungie is refusing to let xur sell heavy synthesis to fluff playing time from drones who don't know the glitch.

When using word of crota, or fatebringer without field scout on, it takes 25 seconds. (if you didn't switch to ice breaker etc before you died) The real important thing is that you get 20+ heavy ammo in 5 minutes versus only having 7. So wasting that time I think is worth it if I can shoot 2 rockets at crota without regard to running out so that it's for sure he's down. Also makes up for some people who run out of rockets.

Your an idiot, most groups have it ready before the titans have popped bubbles and dropped orbs. With NLB it takes under 20 seconds.

Nothing worse than playing with a terrible group who do the glitch every wipe. I don't bother doing it and don't use synths. Ruin wings is enough so I'm usually stood waiting for the idiots

There is so much ignorance in the OP view, I'm going to dispel a couple of his myths. 45 seconds ammo glitch = 10-20 rockets. 45 seconds in exclusion zone would net about 300glimmer. 1x vanguard 10-20mins would net about 1.5k glimmer. Patrols only reward glimmer on yellows (this was the case in skywatch yesterday). Other bounties don't reward glimmer, unless it's a "kill ??? on heroic modifier" in which case see Vanguard. Nightfalls = vanguard strike net glimmer return but longer. So, I get enough ammo for a go at crota doing the glitch otherwise it's TWO synths. So us guys who have families and jobs then yes it is easier to glitch whilst Bungie fix the heavy ammo glitch and address the glimmer sink problem.

Doing the glitch gives you 20x the heavy of one synth. So I'd rather spend the same amount of time on the glitch than glimmer farm for one synth.

If it takes the same amount of time it should equate to the same amour of ammo but the ammo spawns like 20+ rounds so I think it's for the better
