Nothing else to do in destiny :(
So I have logged in more than 800hrs in this game, and pretty much loved every minute of it . I've met lots of awesome people who share the same passion for the game for what it is and what it could be .
Having said that, I'm sad to say the game has gone stale for me . I have every exotic in the game. I have no reason to play any raids any more as I have every weapon and piece of gear the raids have to offer which is was what made the raids so fun . (chasing new gear and weapons) Now i'm in a position were I will not see any new content until the next DLC which won't be until May now from what I'm hearing.
I'll Play the next DLC since I paid for it already, but I can't see my self paying for another expansion in September unless it is loaded with content.
Anyone else in the community who share my views or are in the same position as me? Let me know what you have say.

Play for fun, not for loot. You never never know, you might find some enjoyment in this.

Don't get me wrong, I would love for there to be something new, but I'm trying to be uplifting here so... Be happy you got that much fun out of it as you did. I've played for less than 100hours and I'm already bored to death:P

The dlc for September might be on a disk because there is a Blam load of content so you will be happy

First off glad you enjoyed it. Secondly your ridiculously dreaming if you think "content" is what Bungie has done at all with their game. May won't and you will still play and then you will buy Sept. expansion. So on and so forth. The only things you will see is less players.

You have every single weapon in the game? You have all 4 Faction levels fully maxed? You have every jump ship, sparrow and shader$ Don't say there's nothing left. I have over 1,200 hours and still can't stop playing.

5 commentairesHave you considered simply playing the game for FUN?? Seriously. Everything you've mentioned (as motivation to play) are EXTERNAL things. Some sort of "reward". At no point (other than to characterize your response to running out of external rewards to "play for") did you mention how you FEEL playing the game. Now, some people are just wired that way. They need external rewards to motivate them. But you are also seeing the PROBLEM that reliance on such things creates. When they are no more "trophies" to win, you start to get bored and restless. ...and life doesn't always provide you with a steady stream of trophies to win.

Ya sounds like you have done everything you can really do in the game, take advantage of some awesome games coming out now and give destiny a break, when the next dlc comes out then you can come back.

Maybe log in for the weekly and stockpile Coins if you haven't already. But then you have a 32, a 30, and 9. Unless you did some resets, you don't have every piece of raid gear available.

I thought September was goig to be pretty much a whole new game and story, the comet or something like that it shows it in the leaked photo

I guess my question to you and all the others who have made similar posts is why? You aren't our relative or a best friend. You feel you got your monies worth from the game and you even admit that, so why bother coming here to make this statement? Is it that hard for people just to walk away?

I agree, i have slowly played destiny less and less...still certainly fun... I just have more fun playing minecraft even though i enjoy games like destiny the most. What i would like to see is some more diverse content and some gameplay that varies from the monotonous go here and stay alive and go through this hallway...

Agreed, and my raid team is feeling it too... About the only thing I do at this point is clear the raid once a week and p-lay pvp from time to time. All these numbers for Destiny that Bungie is so proud to trumpet, I am curious how they are going to fare in the next few months. Sales have dropped to 9th overall (combining all consoles). With all the good games around the corner, player base might be dropping off.
