I can already tell this will be a boring summer
(Copy and pasted from another forum.)
So, this past weekend I did nothing, like most weekends, but on most weekends I can survive by playing a game, watching some videos, browsing the Internet, and hanging out with friends every few weekends (there's a reason why we don't hang out more). This last weekend though, I literally did nothing. Sat around all day trying to find something to do, and I literally didn't feel doing any of the things I said above. At least later I got into a long Civilization 5 match with some of you fine folks of LTT, which was a ton of fun.
At least I knew that the weekend was short and school was coming back up for the week, but the thing is, school's gonna be over in about 3 weeks for me, and I definitely don't want my 2 and a half month summer to be like that weekend. I've had summers like that before, and they really suck.
Luckily the very first week of summer me and my friends are going to Orlando for a week (ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ RAISE YOUR MICKEYS ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ), but after that, there's really nothing else going on.
Basically, I need some ideas on what to do this summer. I know I'll be able to catch up on learning Japanese, which I've neglected for months because of school, so that's good, and I may do a virtual school over the summer, but those things will only keep me occupied for an hour or 2 out of each day.
So...ideas?
(And I may or may not be getting a car sometime this summer. Me and my mom will be talking that out with my dad very soon.)

And of course, women on the stupid dating site I'm on lead me on as usual. Oh do you want my number anon? Here. Oh sorry I can't make it, but definitely another time! So I'm stuck in the house wasting my days doing nothing and alone, which is as what I suspected would happen. Only friend has a girlfriend and a job already, no time for me, not that he would want to anyways being Mr. Successful. All I did today was watch three movies, The Sum of all Fears, Live and Let Die, and Olympus has Fallen, and also one episode of Mad Men. And reading Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising. I guess it's going to be the same as last summer, where I'll be "that guy" who goes to the movies by himself. There are seven movies I want to see in theaters. Maybe it's time to drink, I haven't had any alcohol since November.

It wasn't until my boring weekends that I realized I had no productive hobby/skill besides games in my free-time. So I've been changing that, only problem is now I don't have as much time.

My summer seems like it will be pretty nice despite the fact that I have a summer class. You should join a gym, read, get a job, or learn to program.

Get a new hobby. I recommend you try parkour. It's free, and it's a good way to express yourself.

7 commentairesGet a job. Start running or something. Buy a lot of books. I'd say learn a language but I think I'm the minority who enjoys doing multiple languages at once. Go out and meet new people.
