Destiny releases in less then 4 months and so far we know next to nothing, and people defend this like it's a good thing. I seriously hope they have something extremely worthwhile under wraps, or this game won't be worth the $60. Yet people defend it and are being awful to people who raise valid points! What is Destiny? Why do I want it? What is so unique that'll keep coming back? They had better bring something big to the table or Destiny will be another ESO, where only dedicated fans stay and everybody else leaves. Read this carefully

The same can be said about the people who aren't even giving the game a chance before writing it off as a failure. Just because you don't know enough about it to form a solid opinion doesn't mean you know enough for it to be the disappointment so many people say it will be.

But that is just it. It is an ESO but with Fire Arms. That is what makes it a revolution. Yea it is lacking in some areas but it is a first of its kind. Destiny is a MMO, FPS, RPG, Open World Game. All together they make the first SWS (Shared World Shooter). This may not be your game type. It isn't COD or Halo. Of coarse it will have similarities, but how can you not with all the games out there? The uniqueness is that there will always be something to do. Sense it is a "living game" AKA always online, It can continue to get bigger. There is no "I have done everything in the game" It would take months (or years) of dedicated game to have all the side missions completed, ruined explored, weapons found,weapons mastered, enemies killed, Guardians maxed out.... the list goes on. Im not saying this will be your playing style. But if you are trying to justify just the $60, consider how massive this game will be. You could play this game for literally years my friend... How is that not worth $60. But then again, it might not be your type of game.
