Is anyone else completely turned off by this Star Wars crossover? I don’t know about you all, but I find the idea of building a whole DLC around a Star Wars sponsorship incredibly disappointing. I’m here to play Destiny not participate in a Disney themed event. Crossovers are one thing when they’re limited to cosmetics or small events, but centering an expansion around another franchise feels like the game is slowly losing its identity. It’s starting to feel like Destiny is taking a page from Fortnite whoever pays enough gets to shape the game’s direction. And that’s not what made this universe special in the first place. We’ve got decades of rich lore, original characters, and complex storylines. Why are we sidelining all that for another company’s IP? This just seems like a strange move, and to me, it cheapens the experience.
