Idea to change the flawless system in trials

Edit: I’d like to clarify a couple things 1. I’m not suggesting that people should get the flawless emblem, ship or any of the other stuff that the pro players get without going flawless. I do truly believe that the pro players should be treated like pros. 2. I’m only suggesting that after 7 wins, or as other people have suggested, maybe a point system to guarantee 1 adept weapon drop would help bring more people into trials. It would still be RNG involved with the weapon roll, and you still might get crap. So there would still be an incentive for people to come back every week to get their 7 games in or earn the points needed to get the 1 adept drop. 3. I don’t believe you should get anything for free and nor am I asking for that. I do think you need to work for getting loot in this game. I’m only suggesting as it stands now, there’s not a lot of reason for most PVE players to hop in the trials. If you have another idea that would increase the amount of people to play trials, please suggest it. If you don’t believe more people should be playing trials, please comment as to why, as I’m very curious why you’d feel that way? Original post: Since trails really is an absolute -blam!- show, can we entertain the idea of changing it to where instead of needing to go flawless, that you only need 7 wins in order to go to the lighthouse? For people like me, the only reason I play trails is to try to get the adept weapons or even just the weapons in general. But it really is just so annoying to go in there and play with sweat-lords that do absolutely nothing else. And for some odd crazy reason, they seem to never miss a single shot, no matter how unlikely that is. I think this would be a good experiment to get more people in the trials, knowing that they’ll eventually be able to least get the weapons, even if they don’t get the flawless emblems, ships and whatever else you want to put in there the final chess for going flawless. On a sidenote, I could farm GM’s all day long, and I’ve always wondered why it is so much easier to get an adept weapons in PVE then it is in PVP. I really makes no sense to me.

The way I would handle trials is give an adept weapon to anyone that earns 7 wins but has a flawed passage. Now they have to win 7 games again to earn another adept. Flawless players instead of course get the adept loot and for the rest of the weekend, every other game they get a with that same flawless passage has a guaranteed adept weapon drop for winning. Basically the already good players at that point can grind trials for god rolls while still staying at 7 wins and the typical casual can feel like their contribution to playing trials still meant something. This way everyone wins, the rich get richer and the poor still manages to benefit from this. Everyone is happy
