Daily reminder. PC CHAT IS STILL BROKEN
An entire season.
That's how long it takes for bungie to address this issue.
No other company would EVER be this pathetic when it comes to a core system in the game.
TLDR
Team, Fireteam and Local chat dont work 99.9% of the time so there is zero communication ingame.

Reason - cheaters. They don’t want you to expose them for whole team and make resonance.

To be fair it does work. It just keeps you connected to the first fireteam you joined. Great for communicating with people outside your fireteam doing something completely different from you. On a more serious note, yeah, this shit needs to be fixed asap.

The only software developer left in Bungie is on holiday. Stay patient, he'll fix it eventually, in a couple of seasons.

Joining fireteams from the companion app is also still busted, if we're keeping track. As is Crucible...[i]in general.[/i]
