I'm just ticked off that I only had Splatoon 2 for like 5 months before they made it irrelevant.

I’m not sure I’d say it was made irrelevant. From what we’ve seen, playable Octolings aren’t a thing in 3 (seems to go straight to an Inkling character creator), and if Splatoon 2 itself is anything to go by, then supers will probably be completely different in the sequel, so there’d still be a reason to play 2 even after 3 comes out. That’s not mentioning Story Mode & Octo Expansion, which you wouldn’t get to play in 3. If I was able, I’d go and buy Splatoon 1 to play the story. Besides, as Irishfreak said, it’s not coming out for a year, so that’s still a year & a half in total—not irrelevant at all!

It had octolings aifos Dont worry
-
Did it? I didn’t see any.

They were there, the four styles in the beginning were male inkling female inkling male octoling female octoling, not necessarily in that order.

Oh, neat! I do hope that’s not all the hairstyles though. It’d be weird for them to have less than 2 does. Octolings being a choice of hair rather than race also means you probably can’t swap between them as easily; in 2 if you go to the character creator, your previous settings for both an Inkling and Octoling are saved, so after choosing which you want you can mash A to get your old style.

Oh, no, style and hair are different, I’d imagine there are unique hairs for each style. Creation goes from Style Skin Eyes Hair Lil buddy I think

Ah, that makes sense. Maybe I need to go watch the trailer again. :p It does make me curious how this all would’ve been done if Order had won, though. Like, the little intro segment specifically. Chaos had this post apocalyptic wasteland theme, while Order had this dystopian sci-fi look to it. I hope they release some details of what they had planned!

Well its not out until next year so hardly irrelevant
