There wasn’t any danger of constructive engagement when you don’t engage, and instead ignore the input of others to repeat a constructed narrative in place of facts and try desperately to escape the topic through a series of tangents. The thing is, Bungie does something players don’t like it and they come to the appropriate place to discuss it.

there is litterly nothing i can say without somehow coming off as toxic even though im not trying to be in any way. but please. there is no need to prolonged arguments people can like what they like and hate what they hate. can we just all respect that? please? and... as for context. im talking about destiny 2. not anything else. just. people like what they like about this game and hate what they hate about it. but niether are a good reason to go at each other. i might be hyped for beyond light. but im fully aware of that issues that will come with it and im going into it knowing it might now be what everyone wanted. i... can we just repect each other on this game. regardless if your a hater or a bungie lover or in the middle? all the sides here have valid points like i understand this game has potential and that bungie has also wasted so many opprotinites. and that there are a lot of unfixed and major issues with the game but its still something tons of people enjoy. . but there is no need to start a war over it. so pelase. can we all just get along even if we have the opposite views?

We have had many many long discussions and agree some times and disagree sometimes. The point of the forum is to have discussions. I don’t mind that he gets personal. I would rather have that then an echo chamber where everyone says the same fake crap for clout like Reddit.

It's not even an accurate description of DestinyTheGame. It's a popular misconception around here that just isn't accurate. There are more diverse and divergent viewpoints expressed there than here. And the average quality of the comments is higher. From my experience it's more representative of the actual player community. And has a lot more active participants. A lot of the frequent posters here would just be laughed into obscurity.

It’s not a destiny thing, it’s a Reddit thing.

A lack of discussion? That's an unsupportable statement that runs contrary to my rather extensive personal experience. Unless you define "discussion" as insults, name calling, and personal attacks. If that's the case then there certainly is more "discussion" here. The truth is that many of the most prolific and strident posters here would have their arguments shredded at DestinyTheGame. And that includes members from both sides of the aisle.
