IMO if Bungie continued to encourage change and not force it, pretty much nothing would happen and everyone would still use the best things from a year ago, so it would still be a stale game where nothing changes

Okay, but when you do force change. Value goes instead from, not having value being used over what I already have, into not having value at all because everything I just did has no value to begin with. The philosophy looks good on paper, but add in another dimension such as time availability, and this philosophy diminishes very quickly over longer spans of time.

But I do think that even if those who have little time to play lose their favorite weapon they grinded for cause of this change, they have 9-15 months to acquire and use a new godroll, but again, not one to really speak about that. But personally, I would love to go and grind for a new godrolls, and i get to enjoy them for a year or so until I get to find another enjoyable weapon, and a year is plenty of time to find and get a good one. But thats just my thoughts. And you can tell I have a lot of time since I'm speaking my opinion mostly defending Bungie's decision in a place where Bungie is always poorly criticized for any changes
